Abstract

Zur Steuerung eines medizinischen Geräts (1), welches ein Zeigeinstrument (7), ein Bilderkennungssystem und eine Steuereinheit (17) aufweist, wird das Zeigeinstrument (7) durch einen Bediener (5) in einen Bereich bewegt, der einer Bilderkennung des Bilderkennungssystems zugänglich ist und es wird die Bilderkennung aktiviert. Anschließend wird das Zeigeinstrument (7) an mehreren räumlichen Positionen positioniert und diese Positionen des Zeigeinstruments (7) werden mit dem Bilderkennungssystem erkannt. Die erkannten Positionen werden an die Steuereinheit (17) übermittelt und von dieser in mindestens einen Steuerbefehl übersetzt. Abschließend wird das medizinische Gerät (1) mittels des Steuerbefehls gesteuert. In einer besonders vorteilhaften Ausführungsform werden die räumlichen Positionen des Zeigeinstruments (7) zu einer Trajektorie (23) zusammengesetzt, wobei charakteristischen Trajektorien (23) jeweils bestimmte Steuerbefehle zugeordnet sind.
