The electrical supply unit comprising a receiving for the ultraviolet burner, is fastened at the overhead base of the cap. The cap and the flange are waterproof sealed on the container edge. The cap and the flange are screwed with one another over a thread in the encroachment area. The device for the sterilization of sewage system, comprises a tubular container (1), a flange (5), a container edge (7), an ultraviolet permeable tube (4) with ultraviolet burner, an electrical supply unit (6), cap that is mounted on the flange, ring chamber, sealing ring, waterproof cable duct.
