Claims (21)

PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Verfahren zum Zusammenkleben zweier Scheibenelemente
(12, 14), insbesondere Substrate für digitale Audio-, Video- oder Computerscheiben, beispielsweise digitale Video-CD's, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Schritte:
a) koaxiales Zusammenbringen der Scheibenelemente (12, 14) derart miteinander, daß ein Spalt (46) zwischen den beiden Scheibenelementen verbleibt;
b) derartiges Aufbringen eines Flüssigklebstoffs (52) in einer Innenfläche des Spaltes (46), daß der Klebstoff im wesentlichen gleichzeitig mit einander zugewendeten Seiten der beiden Scheibenelemente (12, 14) in Berührung gerät; und
c) Zusammenbringen der Scheibenelemente (12, 14) zueinander, um ein gutdefiniertes, gleichmäßiges Ausfüllen von Klebstoff zwischen den Scheibenelementen zu erzielen.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
die Scheibenelemente (12, 14) während des Aufbringens von Klebstoff in einer parallelen Beziehung zueinander gehalten werden.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Scheibenelemente (12, 14) während des Klebstoffaufbringens relativ zueinander derart gehalten
werden, daß zwischen zumindest einem radial äußeren Abschnitt der Scheibenelemente (12, 14) ein radial nach außen divergierender Spalt (46) gebildet wird.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest eines (14) der Scheibenelemente relativ zum anderen (12) Scheibenelement während des Klebstoffaufbringens zwischen den Scheibenelementen (12, 14) in einer konvex gekrümmten Form gehalten wird.
5. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Klebestoff (52) in den Spalt
(46) eingespritzt wird, während die Scheibenelemente (12, 14) gedreht werden.
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest eine Klebstoffeinspritzdüse (50) vor dem Aufbringen von Klebstoff in den Spalt (46) eingebracht wird.
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Düse (50) in den Spalt (46) radial von der Außenseite eingebracht wird.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Düse (50') in den Spalt (46) radial von innen eingebracht wird.

Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das(die) Scheibenelement(e) (12, 14) durch Erzeugen eines unteratmosphärischen Drucks auf der Seite des Scheibenelements gegen einen entsprechend profilierten Halter (30, 32; 30'; 32") gekrümmt wird (werden), die dem Halter zugewendet ist.

10. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Klebstoff rund um die Scheibenelemente in einer Ringform (52) aufgebracht wird.
11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
die Scheibenelemente (12, 14) jedes zumindest eine halbe Umdrehung, vorzugsweise eine halbe bis eine ganze Umdrehung in entgegengesetzte Richtungen gedreht werden.
12. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Scheibenelemente (12, 14) nach dem Aufbringen von Klebstoff durch Schwerkraft auf ein Scheibenelement (14) und die Kapillarkräfte des Klebstoffs zueinander gebracht werden.
13. Vorrichtung zum Zusammenkleben zweier Scheibenelemente
(12, 14), insbesondere Substrate für digitale Audio-, Video- oder Computerscheiben, beispielsweise digitale Video-CD's, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie einen unteren Halter (30; 30'; 30") zum Tragen eines Scheibenelements (12) umfaßt; einen oberen Halter (32; 32'; 32") zum Stützen des anderen Scheibenelements (14) in einer koaxialen Beziehung zum unteren Scheibenelement, um einen Spalt (46) zwischen den Scheibenelementen (12, 14) zu bilden; und eine Einrichtung (50; 50') zum Aufbringen eines Flüssigklebstoffs in einer Innenfläche des Spalts (46).
14. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest einer (32') der Halter eine Fläche aufweist, die dem im wesentlichen konvexen Scheibenelement (14) zugewendet ist, wobei die Fläche zusammen mit dem Scheibenelement und einem Dichtelement

(35, 38) konstruiert ist, um einen Raum (48) zu begrenzen, der einem Vakuum aussetzbar ist.

Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder der beiden Halter (30"; 32") eine im wesentlichen flache, seinem jeweiligen Scheibenelement (12, 14) zugewendete Fläche aufweist, wobei die flache Fläche zusammen mit dem Scheibenelement und dem Dichtelement (36, 38) einen Raum (48) definiert, der einem Vakuum aussetzbar ist.

Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einrichtung zum Aufbringen von Klebstoff eine Düse (50; 50') umfaßt, die derart angeordnet ist, um einen Klebstoffstrom in den Spalt (46) zu richten, so daß der Klebstoffstrom im wesentlichen gleichzeitig einander zugewendete Flächen der Scheibenelemente (12, 14) trifft.
17. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Düse (50) radial von der Außenseite in den Spalt

19. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Halter (30, 32; 30'; 32'; 30"; 32") zum Aufbringen eines ringförmigen Klebstoffwulstes (52) rund um die Scheibenelemente (12, 14) in dieselbe Richtung drehbar sind.
20. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Halter (30, 32; 30'; 32'; 30"; 32") nach dem

Aufbringen des Klebstoffwulstes (52) relativ zueinander in entgegengesetzte Richtungen drehbar sind.
21. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 13 bis 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der untere Halter (30"; 30") eine im wesentlichen flache, scheibenstützende Fläche aufweist.
