Abstract
L'invention concerne un noeud de communication fonctionnant comme un carrefour régulé par signalisation aux heures de pointe, qui présente en son milieu, un dispositif à contourner dans le sens giratoire, que l'on peut faire passer d'un état retiré à un état actif et inversement. Aux heures creuses, le noeud de communication fonctionne en mode 'céder le passage' dans le sens giratoire. L'état retiré correspond par ex. à une position où le dispositif est enfoncé dans le sol ou à une position où il est soulevé au-dessus du niveau de la circulation ou à une position où il se trouve engagé sur un corps central ou à une position d'arrêt où les systèmes de signalisation mécaniques ou lumineux fixes qui guident la circulation dans le sens giratoire sont mis hors service. Le dispositif comprend par exemple un îlot central escamotable et/ou des bittes escamotables. Un noeud de communication fonctionnant en mode 'céder le passage' dans le sens giratoire présente un meilleur degré de sécurité qu'un carrefour fonctionnant en mode 'céder le passage', sans giratoire, mode selon lequel lesdits carrefours fonctionnaient le soir jusqu'à présent. Ce système permet également de faire fonctionner des noeuds de communication en mode 'céder le passage' dans le sens giratoire, là où il n'est pas possible, pour des raisons de sécurité, de mettre les systèmes de signalisation hors service également aux heures creuses. Les temps et les files d'attente qui sont inévitables en cas de circulation régulée par signalisation sont alors réduits et fréquemment entièrement supprimés.
