Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kühlmittelpumpe zur Förderung eines Kühlmittels. Die Pumpe umfasst eine Pumpeneinheit mit einem Pumpenrad (01) sowie einer Pumpkammer (03) mit Sauganschluss (04) und Druckanschluss (06); und eine Antriebseinheit, die einen elektromotorischen Direktantrieb aufweist, welcher eine Aktiveinheit mit einer elektrischen Wicklung als Stator (08) sowie eine Passiveinheit als Rotor (07) besitzt. Der als Außenläufer gestaltete Rotor (07) ist innerhalb und der Stator (08) ist außerhalb der Pumpeneinheit angeordnet. Rotor (07) und Stator (08) sind zylinderförmig ausgebildet und unter Belassung eines axial verlaufenden Luftspalts (12) konzentrisch zueinander angeordnet. Der Luftspalt (12) wird vom Kühlmittel durchströmt. Das Pumpenrad (01) ist am Rotor (07) axial mit dessen Drehachse (16) ausgerichtet befestigt. Der Rotor (07) erstreckt sich in einer Rotorhülse (13), welche sich an die Pumpkammer (03) anschließt. Der Stator (08) ist in einer Statorhülse (14) angeordnet, welche konzentrisch innerhalb der Rotorhülse (13) positioniert und gegenüber dieser abgedichtet ist.

The invention relates to a coolant pump for conveying a coolant. The pump comprises a pump unit with a pump wheel (01) and a pumping chamber (03) with suction port (04) and pressure port (06); and a drive unit which has an electromotive direct drive, which has an active unit with an electrical winding as a stator (08) and a passive unit as a rotor (07). The designed as external rotor rotor (07) is within and the stator (08) is arranged outside the pump unit. Rotor (07) and stator (08) are cylindrical and arranged concentrically to each other, leaving an axially extending air gap (12). The air gap (12) is flowed through by the coolant. The impeller (01) is mounted on the rotor (07) axially aligned with the axis of rotation (16). The rotor (07) extends in a rotor sleeve (13), which adjoins the pumping chamber (03). The stator (08) is arranged in a stator sleeve (14), which is positioned concentrically within the rotor sleeve (13) and sealed with respect to this.
