Abstract

The screen is made from natural or synthetic fibres, or a mixture of both, and of any colour. The texture of the material is woven to give visibility from inside the vehicle and it can be treated to reflect the rays of the sun. The material is cut to the shape of the opening to be covered, with an overlap all the way round. This overlap is wide enough to permit the attachment of fasteners (2) which are used to secure the screen (1) over the complete opening of the window by cooperating with fasteners (3) on the door wall. These fasteners may be plastic strips using small interlocking hooks, or snap type.
