Abstract

Improvement to a blood stirrer according to Fance patent 81 04918. According to this invention the stirrer in accordance with the main patent is characterised by a stirring system in which the tray is driven in a sinusoidal motion by virtue of a rotation mechanism represented by a tray carrying rollers of different length. According to the invention the stirrer in accordance with the main patent is characterised by a weighing device using springs 13 and square frame 14. These springs are connected by a movable square frame 15 which supports the lid 28 supporting the stirrer. The weighing device is associated with a sampling cutting device operating by virtue of an end stop 29 actuating the microswitch 21 which actuates the electromagnet 32 which triggers the lever 22 which releases the plunger 23 which actuates, via a spring 33, the stud 30 which thus pinches the tubing ensuring the clamping. The cursor 20 supporting the microswitch 21 provides the target value by modifying the separation distance between the latter and the end stop 29. The invention can be employed for the automatic sampling of blood in pouches, and for the continuous stirring of liquids in the course of sampling.
