Abstract

It is intended to allow by the adaptation of the removable bottom constituting a cover forming a base immobilizing a neck which may or may not be closed to achieve a capacity on foot.

 I1 is known to cut the bottoms of bottles to achieve funnels or capacities that can form a glass by holding the neck closed, but without being able to place it or be used as packaging and element for preserving the content and forming without modification of structuring a glass stem itself reusable as packaging in its original form or even be kept as stemmed glass.

The device according to the invention eliminates these drawbacks and makes it possible, using a conventional bottle, the neck of which is closed by a common stopper, and the bottom closed by a shutter forming a removable cover provided with a device immobilizing and stabilizing the neck in a strapping profile, the production of a stemmed glass giving the possibility of drinking directly from the bottom of the bottle in a quick, practical, hygienic and aesthetic manner, with no other preparation than the inversion of capacity, this packaging being usable for transport, storage and immediate consumption.

It is constituted by the combination first of all of a classic bottle body with stoppering of the neck, then by an open bottom closed by a removable cover provided with sealing joints and stabilizing profiles immobilizing the neck in its position inverted vertical.

The bottomless bottle 1 is closed at its base by a removable cover 2 sealing the open bottom 3.

This cover comprises a housing 4 receiving the neck 10 with jointing 7. Enveloping walls 6 and internal lining 5.

A bearing surface 8 stabilizes the periphery of the open base.

According to a functional embodiment starting from the same elements, the bottle 9, FIGS. 3, 4, is closed by capping or the like 12.

A cap with pressure relief device on the lid can be used for carbonated drinks.

The open bottom 13 is closed by a sealed cover 14 of the canning jar type. This obturator comprises at its central part a stamping 15 forming a recess with gasket packing 6 to receive and encircle the neck with its obturator 12.

A peripheral seal 17 or O-ring circles the bottom 14 of the cover and ensures the sealing contact of the peripheral boss 18 of the open base of the bottle. To the elasticities of the seals 16, 17 is added that of the cover which makes it possible to obtain a clipping. waterproof.

By inverting the bottle 9 (fig 4 and 5), removing the cover 14 and introducing the neck 19 and its shutter 12 into the stamping 15 the bottle 9 is stabilized in the vertical position.

The cover 14 forms a base 20, FIG. 5, and a stemmed glass 19 is obtained, making it possible to drink from the bottom directly from the bottle.

This economical device has multiple applications, but can be used mainly for small bottles, cans in bars, airplanes, picnic trains, restaurants and others.

The peripheral boss 18 includes the periphery of the opening 13 and removes any edge from the wall.

This bottle body 1 can be made of glass or synthetic material.

This functional base can also form an advertising or decorative support. It is even adaptable to any bottle whose bottom has been previously cut.

This cover can have its walls made of plastic and flexible material and can be fixed by simple strapping with peripheral pressure. It is even possible to use threads, notches, bayonets or magnetic or other means, to immobilize the removable cover.

After use, the cover can again close the open base and reconstitute a capacity intended to contain any pasty fluid product, even pulverulent.

However, the shapes, dimensions and arrangements of the various elements may vary, as indeed the materials used for their manufacture, without changing for this, the general design of the invention which has just been described.
