Dispositif (4) de commande d'un système (3) de freinage régénératif équipant un véhicule (1) automobile pourvu d'un volant (2), ce dispositif de commande comprenant - un premier capteur (41) de force disposé dans une première partie (21) de prise du volant;- un deuxième capteur (42) de force disposé dans une deuxième partie (22) de prise du volant;- un capteur (43) de décélération du véhicule (1) automobile; - un module (44) de commande configuré pour générer, lorsqu'une décélération du véhicule (1) automobile est détectée, - une première commande pour augmenter la puissance du freinage régénératif lorsqu'une première force prédéfinie est exercée sur la première partie (21) de prise du volant (2);- une deuxième commande pour diminuer la puissance du freinage régénératif lorsqu'une deuxième force prédéfinie est exercée sur la deuxième partie (22) de prise du volant (2).
