153,436. Kimber, W. E. Sept. 30, 1919. Addition to 118,069. Curtain poles and rods.-In a curtain pole or rod of the type described in the parent Specification, the pulley 5 is provided with two grooves, the groove 8 receiving the endless cord 4 and the groove 9 receiving the enlarged portion 12 of the antifriction rollers 6 carried by the bracket 7. The groove 9 is fitted with a ring or band 10 of india-rubber &c. and the part of the rod 1 that bears on rollers at the other end is similarly provided with a ring or band of the same material.
