Abstract

505,994. Pneumatic tyres. FIRESTONE TYRE & RUBBER CO., Ltd. Nov. 19, 1937, No. 31883. Convention date, Nov. 19, 1936. Addition to 498,668. [Class 144 (ii)] A pneumatic tyre for use on tractor wheels is formed with upstanding tread lugs each having one or more portions extending parallel to the axis of the tyre and a height approximately 20 per cent the radial height of the tyre in cross-section, Figs. 2, 5 and 11 show typical forms of tread lugs comprising axial portions and integral oblique portions. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also modifications in which the tread lugs are formed without oblique portions. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
