The seating surfaces 25, 26 engaging the peripheral facets of the polygonal blades 2 of the milling-cutter head of the parent Specification are provided respectively by a split ring 8 secured in a recess in the head by screws 21 and by a disc 9 secured to the face of the head by screws 22.
