Abstract

707,497. Thread guides. ALGEMENE: KUNSTZIJDE UNIE N.V. April 23, 1952 [July 10, 1951], No. 10254/52. Class 120(2) A thread guide comprises a holder 11, Fig. 4, two parts 9 having flat faces 18, Fig. 5, and a spring clip 10, Fig. 6 assembled as shown in Fig. 3, the thread 2 passing between the faces 18. A retaining lip extending from the back 20 of the spring engages a groove 14 on the holder,. and lips 22 on the sides of the spring engage grooves 17 in the parts 9. The distance apart of the faces 18 is determined by the thickness of a flange 12 on the holder 11. A slot 19 is provided on the holder to facilitate attachment to a traverse bar.
