Abstract

967,429. Model railway vehicles. ROKAL G.m.b.H. Aug. 13, 1963, No. 31981/63. Heading A6S. A two-part model railway vehicle connected together about a vertical axis 13 of articulation and having a bearing block 3, 4 on each vehicle half 1, 2, respectively, to support a middle axle and wheel assembly 18 with sufficient play to permit pivotation of said axle assembly in a horizontal plane so as to assume a position bisecting the varying angle between the longitudinal axes of the vehicle parts. The part of the vehicle half opposite to the bearing block overlaps, and is supported by, the bearing block of the other vehicle half. The vehicle halves are joined together in pivotal arrangement by means of a screw 14 and nut 15 each of which have a rim to engage a part annual groove in each vehicle half. Alternatively, a hollow rivet 19, Fig. 4, may be used.
