A motorcycle suit (10) having a suit structure (12) adapted to protect at least from abrasion and defining an internal housing to accommodate the body of the motorcyclist, wherein at least one portion of the suit structure (14) is a piece or portion of at least a double-layered structure including an elastic microfibre under-layer (15), or elasticised microfibre under-layer, facing said housing and a finishing layer (16) adapted to cover said elastic microfibre under-layer (15), or elasticised microfibre under-layer, said finishing layer (16) being arranged in view on an external side with respect to said elastic microfibre under-layer (15).

2. Motorcycle suit (10) according to claim 1, wherein said finishing layer (16) is a polyurethane layer.

3. A motorcycle suit (10) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said at least one portion of the suit structure (14) has a thickness of between 0.5 and 1.5 mm, preferably between 0.8 and 1.2 mm and even more preferably 1.00 mm.

4. A motorcycle suit (10) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said elastic microfiber underlayer (15) or elasticized microfiber underlayer, includes elastomeric fibers.

5. Motorcycle suit (10) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said at least one portion of suit structure (14) replaces a leather suit portion.

6. A motorcycle suit (10) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said at least one portion of suit structure (14) is an insert fixed to a remaining portion (30, 32) of leather suit structure (12).

7. A motorcycle suit (10) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said at least one portion of suit structure (14) is a portion configured to be placed on a rear region of the suit.

8. A motorcycle suit (10) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein said at least one portion of suit structure (14) is a covering portion of at least one buttock region (20), a lumbar region (18) and a rear trouser region (24) of the motorcycle suit.

9. A motorcycle suit according to claim 8, wherein said at least one portion of suit structure (14) is a single double-layer piece.

10. Use of elastic microfibre or elasticised microfibre to make at least one portion (14) of the structure (12) of a motorcycle suit (10) suitable for protecting against abrasion.

11. Use according to claim 10, wherein said elastic microfiber or elasticized microfiber is a first under-layer (15) of the at least one portion of suit structure (14), wherein said at least one portion of suit structure (14) includes a finishing layer (16) placed to cover said first under-layer in elastic microfiber (15) or elasticized microfiber.

12. Use according to claim 10 or according to claim 11, wherein said elastic microfiber or elasticized microfiber is the elastic microfiber or elasticized microfiber of said underlayer (15) of the motorcycle suit (10) according to any of claims 1 to 9.

Method for making a motorcycle suit, wherein the method involves providing a first layer (15) of elastic microfibre or elasticised microfibre, associating said first layer (15) with a finishing layer (16) to form at least one portion of at least a double-layer structure (14), using said at least one portion of the suit structure (14) to form a portion of the motorcycle suit, wherein said finishing layer (16) is a visible layer of the motorcycle suit.

14. The method of claim 13, wherein the first elastic fiber layer includes elastomeric fibers.

15. Process according to claim 13 or 14, wherein the finishing layer (16) is a polyurethane layer.

16. Method according to any of the preceding claims 13 to 15, wherein said at least one portion of the suit structure (14) has a thickness of between 0.5 and 1.5 mm, preferably between 0.8 mm and 1.2 mm, preferably still 1 mm.

17. A method according to any of the preceding claims 13 to 16, wherein said at least one portion of suit structure (14) is sewn or joined to a remaining leather portion (30, 32) of the motorcycle suit (10).
