Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 視角に応じて変化する複屈折を補償する光学機構を具備する電気光学的表 示装置であって、 補償機構が、フィルムに電気光学的装置の自然の複屈折によって生じる望まし くない効果を補償する複屈折特性を与えるために、フィルム面の垂線以外の方向 に光軸を持つ複屈折を生じるようフィルム面とはゼロでない角を成す干渉縞が記 録された体積ホログラムを有する少なくとも1つの透明なフィルム(A2)を有 することを特徴とする装置。 2. 前記請求項1において、所定の範囲の波長に対して補償を行い、干渉縞の 間隔はこの範囲の波長よりも小さいことを特徴とする装置。 3. 前記請求項1または2の何れかにおいて、干渉縞はフィルム面に対して傾 斜していることを特徴とする装置。 4. 前記請求項1または3の何れかにおいて、フィルムには異なる方向に対し てそれぞれ直交する2つの回折格子が設けられていることを特徴とする装置。 5. 前記請求項4において、2つの回折格子は互いに直交することを特徴とす る装置。 6. 前記請求項1または2の何れかにおいて、フィルムのホログラムによって 生じる複屈折は負の一軸複屈折であることを特徴とする装置。 7. 前記請求項1または2の何れかにおいて、ホログラムによって生じる複屈 折は2軸の複屈折であることを特徴とする装置。 8. 前記請求項1または2の何れかにおいて、ホログラムによって生じる複屈 折は正の一軸複屈折であることを特徴とする装置。 9. 前記請求項1または2の何れかにおいて、フィルム面に垂直な軸に沿って 負の複屈折を生じさせるホログラフ記録を有する少なくとも1つのフィルムと、 フィルム面と当該面の垂線に対して傾斜した軸に沿って負の複屈折を生じさせる ホログラフ記録を有する他のフィルムとを有することを特徴とする装置。 10. 前記請求項9において、傾斜した軸の傾斜角が約45度であることを特 徴とする装置。
