Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which enables a user to cover up a portion of the skin of a finger and the cuticle of a nail and to coat only the segment of the nail desired to be coated with a coating material by attaching this device to the finger when coating the finger with a manicure (pedicure). SOLUTION: An upper cover (1) is provided with a segment serving as an aperture in compliance with the segment of the nail. A lower cover (2) is provided with a segment serving as an aperture in compliance with the rear surface of the nail. When the finger is held between the upper cover (1) and lower cover (2) connected by a hinge (3) and the device is fixed to the finger by a clasp (4), the segment of the finger is exposed from the apertures.

ディキュア）を塗る際に指に装着することで、指の皮膚
及び爪の甘皮の一部を覆い隠し、塗りたい爪の部分だけ

いたが、塗り分けるのは、きわめてわずらわしいことで
あった。また手塗りで刷毛斑にならない様に塗り、かつ

があった。（イ）爪以外の皮膚にも塗料が付着しそれを取り除くの
は、きわめてわずらわしいことであった。（ロ）手塗りで刷毛斑にならない様に塗り、かつ艶を出
すには、それなりの技術を要した。（ハ）手塗りでは爪ひとつずつ塗っていくしかなく時間
