図3は、一般にスロットコアと呼ばれているフェライトコアのZ軸断面を示す。偏向ヨークのフェライトコア17の内面に、概ねZ軸(中心0)に向かって突出する凸部18を複数設けて、隣り合う凸部18間の溝部に垂直コイル19と水平コイル20とを、絶縁スペーサ31を介して巻き線するものである。この技術は、実開昭61−56757号公報に開示されている。スロットコアは、凸部が無い通常の偏向ヨークに比べ、フェライトコアを受像管に近づけることができるため、偏向感度の点で有利である。また、コイルに磁束が鎖交しにくくなり、渦電流損失が低減して偏向ヨークの発熱も低減できる。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明のカラー受像管装置は、内面に蛍光体スクリーン面が形成されたパネルとファンネルとが外囲器を構成し、前記ファンネルのネック部内に電子銃が設けられ、前記ファンネルの外面に偏向ヨークが設けられたカラー受像管装置であって、前記偏向ヨークは、フェライトコアと、前記フェライトコアに巻かれた水平コイルおよび垂直コイルと、前記水平コイルと垂直コイルとを絶縁するための絶縁体とを備えており、前記フェライトコアは、その内面に、Z軸に向かって突出し、かつ、長手方向がZ軸を含む平面に沿うように設けられた複数の凸部を有し、前記凸部と凸部との間に溝部を有し、前記フェライトコアのZ軸に垂直な断面の内面形状は、前記溝部の包絡線が円をなしており、前記凸部の先端部の包絡線は、電子銃側で円をなし、スクリーン側で略長方形をなしていることを特徴とする(請求項1)。

こうした構成により、溝部10の包絡線のみがZ軸を中心とする円形状となっているため、フェライトコア成型時の収縮寸法が安定する。公差寸法として、0.2mmを実現できる。図3に示す溝部15が略長方形のものは公差寸法0.3mmであるから、これに比べて本発明によれば画像特性バラツキが少なくなる。また、電子ビームとコイルおよびフェライトコアとの間の距離を近づけることができ、偏向パワーとしては最大限の低減効果が得られる。また、図4に示す従来のものに比べて、3%程度偏向パワーが増大する。

以上説明したように、本発明によれば、ファンネルのZ軸断面形状が略長方形のものであって、かつ、スロットコアであっても、フェライトコア成型時の寸法安定性を保つことができ、画像特性バラツキの少ない、低偏向電力、低発熱偏向ヨークならびにカラー受像管装置の提供が可能である。
