Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mobile phone, and more particularly, to a SIM card mounting structure and a SIM card socket of a mobile phone to which a plurality of SIM cards can be mounted.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In GSM (global system for mobile communication) and W-CDMA mobile phone systems, which are the mainstream overseas, the user becomes a contract user with a plurality of telecommunications carriers. A memory called a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card is used to store user information such as a telephone number (information on permission of use of a telephone network, authentication, etc.) such as a telephone number for identifying the user and user registration information such as a telephone directory. 2. Description of the Related Art A method has been adopted in which a connection to another mobile phone network is made possible by writing the data on a card and attaching the card to a mobile phone. With this SIM card, it is possible to use a plurality of mobile phone terminals according to the purpose by contracting for one line, but at the same time, multiple phone numbers can be assigned to one mobile phone terminal according to the location and situation. It is also possible to use them properly.
[0003]
In other words, when moving between two mobile phone service areas where different carriers provide services, a roaming service (where a carrier uses its own mobile phone even in an area of another carrier). If you do not provide a service that allows you to use the SIM card, you will need to sign a contract with a carrier in the area you are moving to (for example, when you leave Japan) and obtain the SIM card. It will be possible to make calls in the area of telecommunications carriers.
The above-mentioned SIM card cannot be used in the PDC (personal digital cellular) system, which is a standard digital mobile phone system in Japan, but in addition to the above-mentioned systems, the digital cellular phone system of the TDMA (time division multiple access) system can also be used. Network connection management that enables roaming is standard.
[0004]
In order to be able to enjoy the network services of a plurality of telecommunications carriers as described above, it is necessary to provide a structure in which a SIM card can be attached to a mobile phone. A single SIM card can be mounted in a battery mounting groove for mounting a battery on the back side, and one or a plurality of SIM cards can be mounted on a mounting surface side of a battery to be mounted in a battery mounting groove (Patent Document 1) is known.
[0005]
FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the former SIM card mounting structure. A concave portion for mounting a SIM card is formed in a mounting portion 3A of a battery 2A on the back surface of the mobile phone 1A, and a plurality of contacts 5A electrically connected to an internal circuit of the mobile phone are provided in the concave portion 4A. Further, a SIM card holding portion 7A rotatable around a hinge axis by a hinge structure 6A is provided on one side of the concave portion 4A.
[0006]
This SIM card mounting structure is obtained by inserting a SIM card into a SIM card guide member having an L-shaped cross section of the SIM card holding portion 7A and closing the SIM card holding portion 7A by rotating about the hinge axis of the hinge structure. , SIM card and the contact 5A.
[0007]
FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the latter SIM card mounting structure. Instead of mounting the SIM card in the SIM card mounting recess 4B formed in the mounting portion 3B of the battery 2B on the back surface of the body of the mobile phone 1B, the SIM card is similar to the SIM card at the corresponding planar position of the battery 2B when the battery is mounted. A flat base 5B is provided, terminals are provided on the flat base 5B, and a recess 6B for mounting a SIM card is provided at another position of the battery. The recess 6B is electrically connected to the electrode of the flat base in the recess, and is connected to the electrode of the SIM card. A plurality of contacts arranged at corresponding positions are provided, so that a SIM card 7B can be mounted in each of the plurality of recesses, and a selection switch for a SIM card used separately is provided (see Patent Document 1). .
[0008]
This type of mobile phone reads various information stored in the SIM card when the power of the mobile phone is turned on with the SIM card mounted, and based on the information, a plurality of communication business contracted by the user. Connection to the user's network.
[0009]
[Patent Document 1]
Utility model registration No. 3071509 [0010]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described SIM card mounting structure of the mobile phone, it is necessary to arrange concave portions having contacts (contact points) by the number of SIM cards to be mounted, and the possibility that a user uses a plurality of SIM cards is reduced. Assuming that arranging a plurality of SIM card recessed structures in order to secure the function is different for each user as to whether or not to use a SIM card, and the number of SIM cards to be used is different. It is a difficult problem from the viewpoint of designing the optimum number of concave structures, and providing a large number of concave structures complicates the structure of an extremely small housing such as a mobile phone, and also increases the cost of the mobile phone. There's a problem.
[0011]
Also, if the SIM card is lost, there is a risk that others will be able to use the telephone line without permission. To prevent the SIM card from being accidentally dropped, the SIM card cannot be replaced unless the battery is removed. If the SIM card was not used, it was very small and the risk of loss was high.
[0012]
In addition, with the progress of globalization, the number of mobile phone users who frequently go abroad is increasing, and it is necessary to use two or more SIM cards for the mobile phone overseas and to perform operations such as insertion and removal of the SIM card. This is expected to increase in the future, and when two phone numbers are shared by one mobile phone even within the same area (work / private phone numbers are switched in a time-sharing manner), etc. Similarly, it is expected that the number of users who use a plurality of SIM cards and frequently exchange the plurality of SIM cards will increase. However, in the conventional SIM card mounting structure, it is necessary to remove the SIM card every time. Since a complicated replacement operation such as insertion is required, the operation is complicated.
[0013]
(Purpose)
