TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a drip weather strip that is attached to a drip channel disposed between a vehicle body and a door and that prevents wind and rain from entering the vehicle interior from between the vehicle body and the door.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a drip weather strip, for example, the one shown in FIG. 6 is known. The drip weather strip 101 includes a mounting base 102 attached to a drip channel 202 provided along a door opening of a vehicle body 201 of the automobile, a hollow sealing lip 103 formed integrally with the mounting base 102, It has.
[0003]
The hollow seal lip portion 103 includes a door-side seal portion 104 for sealing between the door and the door. The door-side seal portion 104 is formed with a substantially uniform thickness. Reference numeral 105 denotes an auxiliary lip provided below the hollow seal lip 103.
[0004]
Incidentally, since the drip weather strip 101 has a substantially uniform thickness on the door side sealing portion 104, when the door is built or the shape of the drip weather strip varies, when the door is closed, FIG. As shown in the drawing, there is a problem that a so-called protruding portion 104a is generated in a portion of the door side seal portion 104 which is not pressed by the edge portion 203a of the door sash 203, and the appearance is deteriorated.
[0005]
In order to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, as shown in FIG. 8, a thick portion 106 is provided on the door-side seal portion 104, and a column connecting the end of the door-side seal portion 104 to the mounting base 102. A drip weather strip 111 has been developed in which the portion 107 is provided with a substantially V-groove portion 108 to prevent the protrusion 104a from being generated. (For example, see Patent Document 1)
[0006]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-8-192632 (paragraph 0005, paragraph 0006, paragraph 0007, paragraph 0012, FIGS. 1 to 4)
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the drip weather strip 111 of Patent Document 1 also has the following problem.
(1) FIG. 7 shows a case where the hollow seal lip 103, particularly the support 107, is loosened by pressing the thick portion 106 of the door side seal 104 with the edge 203 a of the door sash 203 when the door is closed. As shown in FIG. 9, the slack is absorbed by the thin-walled substantially V-groove portion 108. As a result, as shown in FIG. 10, the strut portion 107 easily protrudes to the door inner shelf 204 side. When the column 107 interferes with the door inner shelf 204, problems such as an increase in reaction force occur. Attempts to avoid the interference are subject to design constraints. For this reason, it has been an issue to avoid the above-mentioned design restrictions.
(2) The thin, substantially V-shaped groove portion 106 is visible from the outside, and thus has a poor appearance. Therefore, it has been an object to prevent the thin, substantially V-shaped groove portion 106 and creases generated near the groove portion 106 from being seen from the outside.
[0008]
An object of the present invention is to provide a drip weather strip which can prevent the occurrence of a protruding portion as shown in FIG. It was made.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention according to claim 1 includes: a mounting base mounted on a drip channel provided along a door opening of a vehicle body; and a hollow seal lip formed integrally with the mounting base. The seal lip portion of the drip weather strip having a door-side seal portion that contacts the door frame when the door is closed to seal between the door and the door.
The door-side seal portion is constituted by arc-shaped surfaces having different large and small curvatures, a first arc-shaped surface having a large curvature is connected to the mounting base via the vehicle body-side seal portion, and a second circle having a small curvature is formed. By making the arc-shaped surface continuous with the mounting base via the pillar,
When closing the door, even if the installation of the door varies, the second arc-shaped surface having a small curvature is used as a guide surface at the edge of the door frame, and the door frame is placed on the first arc-shaped surface having a large curvature. The door-side seal can be guided smoothly without protruding.

By forming a substantially V-shape with a second inclined portion extending diagonally upward and continuing to the mounting base,
When the door is closed, the strut bends toward the mounting base.
[0011]
The invention according to claim 3 is the drip weather strip according to claim 2,
A first notch is provided at a boundary between the second arc-shaped surface and the first inclined portion, and a second notch is provided at a boundary between the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion. By providing
The first and second notches allow the column to be easily bent toward the mounting base.
[0012]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the drip weather strip according to the first to third aspects,
By providing a third notch on the inner surface at the boundary between the door mounting base and the first arc-shaped surface,
When closing the door, when the edge of the door frame comes into contact with the second arc-shaped surface and the second arc-shaped surface is pressed, the third notch causes the door-side seal to move toward the mounting base. To bend toward it.
[0013]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a drip weather strip 1 of the present invention. The drip weather strip 1 includes a mounting base 2 mounted on a drip channel 202 provided along a door opening of a vehicle body 201, and a hollow seal lip 3 formed integrally with the mounting base 2. ing. The upper end of the mounting base 2 is in contact with the vehicle body 201 side to seal the space between the mounting base 2 and the vehicle body 201. The mounting base 2 is made of hard rubber, and the hollow seal lip 3 is made of soft rubber (sponge rubber). The mounting base 2 and the hollow seal lip 3 are integrally formed by so-called two-color molding.
[0014]
The hollow seal lip portion 3 includes a door-side seal portion 4 that contacts the inner surface of the edge portion 203a of the door frame 203 to seal the space between the door frame 203 when the door is closed.
[0015]
The door-side seal portion 4 is composed of a first arc-shaped surface 5 and a second arc-shaped surface 6 having different large and small curvatures, and the first arc-shaped surface 5 having a large curvature is continuous with the mounting base 2, A second arc-shaped surface 6 having a small curvature is connected to the mounting base 2 via the support 7.
[0016]
The support portion 7 includes a first inclined portion 8 extending obliquely downward from the end of the second arc-shaped surface 6 toward the mounting base 2, and a mounting base 2 extending from the end of the first inclined portion 8. And a second inclined portion 9 extending diagonally upward toward the mounting base 2 and extending substantially obliquely upward.
[0017]
A first notch 11 is provided at a boundary between the second arcuate surface 6 and the first inclined portion 8, and a first notch 11 is provided at a boundary between the first inclined portion 8 and the second inclined portion 9. Is provided with a second notch 12. A third notch 13 is provided at a boundary between the mounting base 2 and the first arc-shaped surface 5. Reference numeral 14 denotes an auxiliary lip provided below the hollow seal lip 3.
[0018]
Next, the operation of the drip weather strip 1 will be described. The drip weather strip 1 is attached to the drip channel 202 by the attachment base 2, and the door-side seal portion 4 of the hollow seal lip portion 3 seals between the drip channel 202 and the door frame 203. More specifically, when the door is closed, the edge portion 203a of the door sash 203 that has entered from the door entry direction indicated by the arrow A in FIG. 2 abuts on the second arc-shaped surface 6 having a small curvature, and While being guided by the arc-shaped surface 6 of FIG. 3, the beam moves to the first arc-shaped surface 5 having a large curvature as shown in FIG. At this time, the third notch 13 causes the door-side seal portion 4 to bend so as to fall toward the mounting base portion 2. Therefore, the edge 203a of the door sash 203 moves smoothly from the second arcuate surface 6 side to the first arcuate surface 5, and the first arcuate surface 5 and the second arcuate surface 6 Is pressed by the edge portion 203a of the door sash 203 and extends substantially linearly.
[0019]
FIG. 4 shows a state in which the doors are scattered downward. In this case, similarly to the case shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, while the edge 203a of the door sash 203 is guided by the second arc-shaped surface 6, as shown in FIG. Move to the surface 5 side.
[0020]
Further, as described above, the support portion 7 is formed by forming the first inclined portion 8 extending obliquely downward from the end of the second arc-shaped surface 6 toward the mounting base 2, and the first inclined portion 8. 8 and a second inclined portion 9 that extends diagonally upward from the end of the door sash 203 toward the mounting base 2 and is continuous with the mounting base 2. When the first arc-shaped surface 5 and the second arc-shaped surface 6 are pressed, the support 7 is bent in the direction of arrow B in FIG. 2 toward the mounting base 2 so as to be separated from the door inner shelf 204. Therefore, the support portion 7 is prevented from contacting the door inner shelf 204. In particular, a first notch 11 is provided at the boundary between the second arcuate surface 6 and the first inclined portion 8, and at the boundary between the first inclined portion 8 and the second inclined portion 9. Since the second notch 12 is provided, when the first arc-shaped surface 5 and the second arc-shaped surface 6 are pressed by the edge portion 203a of the door sash 203, the strut portion 7 becomes substantially V-shaped. The second inclined portion 9 approaches the mounting base 2 while narrowing the spread angle θ to more reliably prevent the column 7 from contacting the door inner shelf 204.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
The drip weather strip of the present invention has the following effects.
(1) When closing the door, the drip weather strip according to claim 1 uses the second arc-shaped surface having a small curvature as a guide surface to smoothly guide the door frame to the first arc-shaped surface having a large curvature. Thereby, it is possible to prevent a part of the door-side seal portion from protruding as shown in FIG.
(2) In the drip weather strip according to the second aspect, the support portion connecting the second arc-shaped surface of the door-side seal portion and the mounting base is moved from the end of the second arc-shaped surface toward the mounting base. A first inclined portion extending obliquely downward and a second inclined portion extending obliquely upward from an end of the first inclined portion toward the mounting base and continuing to the mounting base are substantially formed. It is formed in a V-shape, and when the door is closed, the support portion bends toward the mounting base, so that interference between the support portion and the door inner shelf can be prevented. In addition, since the connecting portion between the second inclined portion and the mounting base is located above the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion, even if the connecting portion is broken and wrinkled, it is invisible.
(3) The drip weather strip according to claim 3 is provided with a first notch at a boundary between the second arc-shaped surface of the door-side seal portion and the first inclined portion of the substantially V-shaped support portion, Since the second notch is provided at the boundary between the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion of the substantially V-shaped support portion, when the door is closed, the second circle is formed at the periphery of the door. When the arcuate surface is pressed, the strut portion makes sure that the second inclined portion approaches the mounting base while narrowing the substantially V-shaped spread angle, so that the strut portion contacts the door inner shelf. Can be prevented.
(4) In the drip weather strip according to the fourth aspect, when the front end of the door frame abuts on the second arc-shaped surface when the door is closed and the second arc-shaped surface is pressed, the third drip weather strip is pressed. Since the notch causes the door-side seal to bend toward the mounting base, in other words, the door-side seal moves in the escape direction, so that the front end of the door frame is smoothly moved to the first arc-shaped surface side. Can be.
