Description
(a)経皮目的に適しており、環境汚染物質の取り込みのための、多孔質材料、吸収性材料を含む第1のポリマー材料を皮膚に平らに適用し、材料から皮膚への環境汚染物質の取り込みを可能にする工程と、
(b)バリヤー層を有する、同じタイプのさらなるポリマー材料を皮膚に平らに適用し、ポリマー材料を皮膚から仕切る工程と、
(c)2つのポリマー材料を同じ時間にわたって周囲空気に曝露し、環境汚染物質についての材料の摂取飽和状態の開始前に材料を皮膚から取り外す工程と、
(d)第1のポリマー材料およびさらなるポリマー材料における個々の環境汚染物質を分析測定する工程と
を含む。

Claims (20)
- 環境汚染物質を含有する空気を収集し、および/またはそれを経皮的に再拡散させるモニタリング・システムであって、生物体の皮膚(7)上に平らに配置され、少なくとも1つの拡散コレクタ(4;8)と少なくとも1つの平衡ディフューザ(5)を含むモニタリング・システム。
- 拡散コレクタ(4;8)が少なくとも3つの層(1、2、3)を有し、これらの層のうち、生物体の皮膚(7)に向けられた層(1)が皮膚(7)に接着することができ、バリヤー層(2)が環境汚染物質の皮膚(7)内への拡散を防ぎ、そして環境汚染物質を取り込む収集層(3)がモニタリング・システム(6)の外面に配置される、請求項1に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 平衡ディフューザ(5)が少なくとも2つの層(1、3)からなり、これらの層のうち、生物体の皮膚(7)上に置かれる層(1)が皮膚(7)に接着することができ、環境汚染物質を取り込み、経皮再拡散を可能にする収集層(3)がモニタリング・システム(6)の外面に位置する、請求項1に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 収集層(3)が経皮目的に適した少なくとも1つのポリマー材料から構成される、請求項2または3に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 有機環境汚染物質の溶解性および吸収性を増大させるために多孔質材料、吸収性材料が、ポリマー材料に添加される、請求項4に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- ポリマー材料が、シリコーン・コポリマー、ポリイソブチレン、アクリレート・コポリマーおよびスチレン・イソプレン・コポリマーを含む群から選択され得る、請求項4に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 多孔質材料、吸収性材料が、活性炭、ベントナイト、二酸化ケイ素、或る種の有機微量元素に対して特異な親和性を有する合成ポリマーを含む群から選択され得る、請求項5に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 接着剤層(1)が、シリコーン・コポリマー、ポリアクリレート、ポリイソブチレンまたはそれらの混合物を含む、請求項2または3に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- バリヤー層(2)が、純粋な金属、ポリエチレン・テレフタレート、アクリロニトリル・コポリマーまたはポリテトラフルオロエチレンから構成される、請求項2に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 金属がアルミニウム、銀または金である、請求項9に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 拡散コレクタ(4;8)および平衡ディフューザ(5)の両方が、或る種の環境汚染物質に対するバリヤー層として、また、織物、プラスチック、皮革などに対する非粘着性層として、1つまたはそれ以上の付加的な層を含む、請求項2または3に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 拡散コレクタ(4;8)および平衡ディフューザ(5)が、各々、同じ材料の収集層(3)および接着剤層(1)を有する、請求項2または3に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 拡散コレクタ(4;8)および平衡ディフューザ(5)の収集層(3)および接着剤層(1)の各々が同じ寸法を有する、請求項2または3に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 接着剤層(1)が、5〜200μm、特に5〜100μmの厚さを有する、請求項2または3に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 収集層(3)が1〜100μmの厚さを有する、請求項2または3に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 生物体が人間または動物である、請求項1に記載のモニタリング・システム。
- 空気から環境汚染物質を収集し、環境汚染物質の皮膚取り込みをモニタする方法であって、以下:
(a)経皮目的に適しており、場合により、環境汚染物質の取り込みのための、多孔質材料、吸収性材料を含む少なくとも1つのポリマー材料を平らに適用する工程、
(b)バリヤー層を有する同じタイプのさらなるポリマー材料を皮膚に平らに適用し、ポリマー材料を皮膚から仕切る工程、
(c)2つのポリマー材料を同じ時間にわたって周囲空気に曝露し、環境汚染物質についての材料の取り込み飽和状態の開始前に材料を皮膚から取り外す工程、
(d)個々の環境汚染物質の分析決定を行う工程
を含む上記方法。 - 分析決定のために、環境汚染物質を有機溶剤によってポリマー材料から抽出し、そうして得た溶液をクロマトグラフィによって標準溶液と比較し、その結果これらの材料によって取り込まれた環境汚染物質の量を決定する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 各材料を、曝露後にヘッドスペース・ガスクロマトグラフにおいて加熱される密閉容器内に置き、材料からそれぞれの容器の気体スペース内へ拡散する環境汚染物質と材料に残っている環境汚染物質との間で平衡状態を確立させ、環境汚染物質の量を気体スペースの気相から測定する、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 材料内の環境汚染物質の測定した量および濃度を比較することによって、生物体に対する環境汚染物質の経皮送達率の推定値を決定する、請求項17〜19のいずれかに記載の方法。
