Abstract
Description
人または動物の血管等の体内にある管において、疾患または外傷により損傷が生じた箇所には、血管の開通性を回復させる内視鏡治療技術により、損傷が生じている領域で血管にステントグラフトを挿入することが可能である。損傷領域には側枝血管が含まれることが多い。側枝血管に確実に血液を流すために、側枝ステントグラフトが使用される。
したがって、発明の一形態では、側枝ステントグラフトが、生体適合性材料からなる主要管と、主要管から鋭角で延伸し、これに縫合されるとともにこれと流体連通する生体適合性材料からなる側枝管とを備え、ステントグラフトはさらに、側枝管が縫合される主要管内の周辺部に三角開口部を備え、三角開口部は、底辺と1組の側辺を有し、側枝管の端部は傾斜部を有し、三角開口部の底辺と等しい周長さの端部分を残し、傾斜部の長さは三角開口部の側辺の長さと等しく、側枝管は三角開口部の周辺部で主要管に縫合されており、端部分は三角開口部の底辺に当接し、傾斜部は三角開口部の側辺に当接する。

- 細長い開口部が実質的に長方形である、請求項1に記載の側枝ステントグラフト。
- 細長い開口部が実質的に楕円形である、請求項1に記載の側枝ステントグラフト。
- 細長い開口部が実質的に三角形である、請求項1に記載の側枝ステントグラフト。
- 細長い開口部が主要管で三角開口部を備え、その周辺部に側枝管が縫合され、三角開口部が底辺と1組の側辺とを有し、側枝管の角度がつけられた内側端部が、三角開口部の底辺の長さと等しい長さを有する端部分と、三角開口部の側辺の長さと等しい長さを有する傾斜部分とを備え、側枝管が、端部分が三角開口部の底辺に当接し、傾斜部分が三角開口部の側辺に当接して三角開口部の周辺部で主要管に縫合される、請求項1に記載の側枝ステントグラフト。
- 側枝管が主要管から鋭角で延伸し、鋭角は15から60度の範囲内、好適には15から45度の範囲内にある、請求項1に記載の側枝ステントグラフト。
- 主要管に沿って複数の自己拡張式ステントをさらに備え、自己拡張式ステントの1つが主要管および側枝管両方の周りを延伸する、請求項1に記載の側枝ステントグラフト。
- 主要管および側枝管両方で延伸する自己拡張式ステントが、縫合部の近位端に近接する湾曲部と、側枝管の各側で下方へ延伸するストラットとを備える、請求項7に記載の側枝ステントグラフト。
- 底辺および1組の側辺により画定される三角開口部を主要管に形成するステップと、
側枝管に傾斜切断部を形成して、残りの端部分と傾斜縁部とを画定するステップと、
傾斜縁部を三角開口部の側辺に縫合するステップと、
側枝管の残りの端部分を三角開口部の底辺に縫合するステップと、
を備える側枝ステントグラフトの組み立て方法。 - 縫合するステップの前に、側枝の傾斜端部分における残りの直線状端部が三角開口部の底辺と位置合わせされ、傾斜縁部が三角開口部の側辺と位置合わせされるように、側枝を裏返し主要管へ挿入するステップをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 主要管および側枝管がいずれも、生体適合性グラフト材料のシームレス管から形成される、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
