Description
本出願は、2006年12月22日出願の米国特許出願第11/615132号の優先権を主張するものであり、その特許出願の内容を参照として本明細書に包含する。
試料が、ウシエナメル質(n=8/グループ)から、0.635cm(0.25インチ)のブロックに切断されて研磨された。次いで、試験用の一律の基準レベルを提供するために、試料が、2分間にわたって1%HCl溶液を使用してエッチングされた。試験前に、(269光沢単位に設定された高い光沢規格を有する)トリコール(Tricor)806H光沢計を使用して、エナメル質表面で鏡面反射測定値が取られた。

Claims (23)

- 前記基板が、厚紙を備える請求項1に記載の艶ガイド。
- 前記基板が、ポリマーを備える請求項1に記載の艶ガイド。
- 前記基板が、ポリアミド、ポリビニル、ポリオレフィン、またはそれらの組合せのホモポリマーまたはコポリマーを備える請求項4に記載の艶ガイド。
- 前記基板の前記上面が、コーティングを備える請求項1に記載の艶ガイド。
- 前記コーティングが、ポリマーまたはフィルムを備える請求項6に記載の艶ガイド。
- 前記複数の光沢区分が、並列に配置される請求項1に記載の艶ガイド。

- 前記複数の光沢区分の各々が、30光沢単位増分で連続的に増加する反射率を有する請求項1に記載の艶ガイド。
- 前記複数の光沢区分の各々が、50光沢単位増分で連続的に増加する反射率を有する請求項1に記載の艶ガイド。
- 前記複数の光沢区分が、様々な反射率を有するフィルムを使用して形成される請求項1に記載の艶ガイド。
- 前記フィルムの各々が、反射率を有する上層と、前記上層の反射率に干渉しない前記上層を覆う透明保護層とを有する請求項15に記載の艶ガイド。
- 艶ガイドを有する歯磨剤用のパッケージであって、前記艶ガイドが、
上面を有する基板と、
前記基板の前記上面に配置された複数の光沢区分と
を備え、前記複数の光沢区分の各々が、光沢単位で測定される一意の反射率を有する
パッケージ。 - 歯磨剤を有する容器を保持するための箱を備え、前記艶ガイドが、前記箱の外面に配置される請求項17に記載のパッケージ。
- パッケージングインサートを備え、前記艶ガイドが、前記インサートに配置される請求項17に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記パッケージングインサートが、さらに、前記艶ガイドに加えて、前記歯磨剤に関する情報を備える請求項19に記載のパッケージ。
- 歯表面の艶を評価するための方法であって、歯表面を歯艶ガイドと比較する工程を含む方法。
- さらに、前記歯表面を前記歯艶ガイドと比較する工程の前に、前記歯表面に歯磨剤を塗布する工程を含む請求項21に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記歯磨剤を前記歯表面に塗布する工程の後、前記歯表面を前記艶ガイドと比較する工程の前に、前記歯磨剤によって前記歯表面を磨く工程を含む請求項22に記載の方法。
