Abstract
【解決手段】カテーテル100は、第1の部分60が、送血用ルーメン20の脱血用ルーメン10側の周壁の厚みを増加させた肉厚部61を設けつつ、その断面積を第2の部分70の断面積よりも小さくしている。

Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係る透析用カテーテル100(以下、単にカテーテル100と称する)の全体構成を示す斜視図である。図2は、カテーテル100の全体構成を別の角度から見た斜視図である。図3は、カテーテル100の全体構成を更に別の角度から見た斜視図である。図4は、カテーテル100の全体構成をまた更に別の角度から見た斜視図である。図5は、カテーテル100の平面図である。図6は、カテーテル100の右側面図である。図7は、カテーテル100の正面図である。図8は、カテーテル100の背面図である。図9は、カテーテル100の底面図である。
血液透析を行う場合、カテーテル100をたとえばセルジンガー法を用いて目的とする血管に留置する。つまり、目的とする血管に挿入された図示省略のガイドワイヤーを、カテーテル100のカテーテル本体50の送血用ルーメン20に挿通された図示省略のスタイレットの先端開口部から挿入して、カテーテル本体50をスタイレットとともにガイドワイヤーに沿って押し進め、カテーテル本体50を血管に挿入する。ただし、カテーテル本体50が血管に挿入するまでの間、カテーテル本体50によって体内を損傷しないように、体内への挿入抵抗が低いことが好ましい。なお、スタイレットを使用することで、カテーテル本体50を血管内に円滑に挿入することが可能になるが、スタイレットを使用せずにカテーテル本体50を血管内に挿入することも可能である。
Claims (4)
- 隔壁により分けられた送血用ルーメン及び脱血用ルーメンを備え、前記脱血用ルーメンの先端が前記送血用ルーメンの先端よりも基端側に位置し、前記脱血用ルーメンの先端に脱血孔が形成され、前記送血用ルーメンの先端に送血孔が形成されたカテーテル本体を備えたエンドホールタイプの透析用カテーテルであって、
前記カテーテル本体は、
前記送血用ルーメンを有し、前記脱血孔から前記送血孔までのうち先端から所定の長さを有するように形成される第1の部分と、
前記送血用ルーメン及び前記脱血用ルーメンを有し、前記脱血孔から基端までの断面形状が略円形状の第2の部分と、
前記送血用ルーメンを有し、前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分とを接続する第3の部分と、で構成されており、
前記第1の部分は、
前記送血用ルーメンの前記脱血用ルーメン側の周壁の厚みを増加させた肉厚部を備え、該肉厚部を含めた断面積を前記第2の部分の断面積よりも小さくし、
前記第3の部分は、
基端側に設けられ、前記隔壁が延設され前記送血用ルーメンの周壁の一部を構成する平面部及び前記送血用ルーメンの前記隔壁以外の周壁の一部を構成する曲面部を有し、断面形状を略半円形状とした延設部と、前記延設部と前記第1の部分とを接続する接続部と、からなり、
前記カテーテル本体を先端側から見た状態において、
前記第1の部分における前記肉厚部の頂部と、前記第2の部分における断面形状が略半円形状の前記脱血孔の頂部と、を重複させている
ことを特徴とする透析用カテーテル。 - 前記第1の部分の断面形状を、長径が前記隔壁と略直交する略楕円形状とし、
前記略楕円形状の長径を、前記第2の部分の断面形状の直径と略一致させている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の透析用カテーテル。 - 前記第3の部分の前記接続部は、
前記肉厚部の頂部周辺を前記延設部の平面部に接続させる第1傾斜面と、
前記先端部の前記肉厚部の頂部周辺以外の周壁を前記延設部の曲面部に接続させる第2傾斜面と、で構成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の透析用カテーテル。 - 前記脱血孔の開口面を前記隔壁とのなす角が鋭角になるように傾斜させている
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の透析用カテーテル。
