Description

The present invention relates to a balance training pad for training for preventing the fall of an elderly person and maintaining and improving a sense of balance, and a training method using the same.

Japan's population is rapidly aging, and measures are being taken to maintain the health and safety of the elderly. For example, the number one cause of bedridden elderly is stroke, but the cause of falls is second, and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is promoting the development of flamingo exercise therapy as a measure to improve motor dysfunction. The purpose of this flamingo exercise therapy is to maintain and improve the motor function of the elderly by maintaining one-leg standing.

Under such social demands, devices for maintaining / improving motor functions or rehabilitation of elderly people and disabled patients with weak physical strength have been proposed. For example, Patent Document 1 proposes a training tool that improves an exercise ball for maintaining the health of a healthy person so that it can be safely trained even for a disabled patient or a care recipient. That is, a handle portion is formed on an elastically deformable resin main body, and the resin main body is a flat columnar shape having a circular upper surface and a lower surface and a peripheral surface sandwiched between the upper surface and the lower surface. Has proposed a training tool formed at a position excluding the center of the upper and lower surfaces.

Patent Literature 2 proposes a mat body for balance sensation training that is used for training and rehabilitation to increase the body balance sensation and muscle strength such as legs in an upright state. That is, an equilibrium sensation training mat body has been proposed which has a closed chamber in which a foam having elasticity is encapsulated with a resin thin film and a space is filled with a fluid to form a sealed shape. This balance sensation training mat body keeps the body upright by moving the center of gravity of the body by sensing the pressure applied to the sole of the foot and the bias of the center of gravity of the body by placing the foot on an unstable scaffold in an upright state It is said that training can be performed efficiently.

Many of the training tools are generally intended for healthy individuals, and Patent Document 1 or 2 can provide training with peace of mind even for elderly people, persons with weak physical strength, and persons with disabilities. Training equipment has been proposed. And the training tool of patent document 1 is described that the training tool which concerns on invention can be trained by superimposing the single or plural training tools, or arranging them horizontally. It is described that the balance sensation training mat described in Patent Document 2 can be used by connecting one or more of the balance sensation training mats according to the invention. However, both the training tool described in Patent Document 1 and the balance feeling training mat described in Patent Document 2 have a plurality of meanings that have the same shape and characteristics, and are independent as in a general training tool. The basic principle is to repeat simple exercises using the training.

On the other hand, the degree of motor dysfunction of the elderly varies widely, has various characteristics that act effectively on the elderly, and can prevent the elderly from falling and maintain and improve the sense of balance. There is a need for training tools that can be used. However, it is difficult to meet the demands of such various elderly people with the training tool described in Patent Document 1 or the mat for balance sense training described in Patent Document 2. In addition, training for preventing the elderly from falling and maintaining / improving the balance sensation is required to be able to be performed with a game sensation in daily life. It is difficult to accommodate this with the described balance sensation training mat.

In view of such conventional problems and social demands, the present invention can be executed with a game sensation in daily life rather than training for the elderly, and also to maintain and improve the motor function of the elderly. It is an object of the present invention to provide a balance training pad that can be effectively acted on, and a training method using the same.

The balance training pad according to the present invention is a balance training pad in which resin pipe pieces of different sizes are filled into a bag for each size, and the resin pipe piece has an outer diameter of 2 to 10 mm and a wall thickness. It has a range of 0.2 to 0.4 mm and a length of 5 to 30 mm, and the bag-like object has an area that can be stepped on and standing on one foot as it is, and the resin pipe piece is so far that the foot does not bottom out. It is filled.

In the above invention, the resin pipe piece is formed by cutting a resin pipe having an outer diameter of 2 to 10 mm and a wall thickness of 0.2 to 0.4 mm into a predetermined length, and the resin pipe is made of a high density polyethylene resin or a low density polyethylene resin. be able to.

Further, the bag-like material is preferably made of an elastic fabric and has a resin pipe piece entrance. And the thing with a connection part which can be connected between different bag-like things is good for a bag-like thing.

The present invention is preferably provided with a set of balance training pad kits adapted to the condition of the elderly. In other words, a set of balance training pad kits in which resin pipe pieces of different sizes ranging from 2 to 10 mm in outer diameter, 0.2 to 0.4 mm in thickness, and 5 to 30 mm in length are filled into bags for each size. The bag-like object has an area that can be stepped on and standing on one foot as it is, and is filled with the resin pipe pieces to the extent that the feet do not bottom and can be connected to each other. A set of balance training pad kits may be provided.

It is suitable for elderly people by connecting each bag-like object in the balance training pad or the balance training pad kit continuously or stepping on each bag-like object, stepping on it or standing on one foot. Training methods to restore and strengthen exercise and balance functions can be implemented.

According to the present invention, a balance training pad that can be executed with a game sensation in the daily life of the elderly, and that is effective in maintaining the motor function and improving the disorder of the elderly, and exercise of the elderly using the same・ Provide training methods to restore and strengthen balance function.

It is a schematic diagram which shows the plane of the bag-shaped object which comprises the balance training pad which concerns on this invention. It is a schematic diagram which shows the cross section of FIG. It is a schematic diagram which shows two examples of the resin pipe piece with which the bag-like thing of a balance training pad is filled. It is explanatory drawing which shows the balance training pad which connected two bag-shaped objects. It is drawing which shows arrangement | positioning / structure of the bag-shaped object which performed the effect confirmation test of the balance training pad.

Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The balance training pad according to the present invention includes a plurality of bag-like objects shown in FIGS. The inside of the bag 10 is filled with a resin pipe piece 20. That is, the balance training pad according to the present invention has at least two such bag-like items, that is, a plurality of bag-like items, and each bag-like item has resin pipe pieces of different sizes, or , Different amount of resin pipe pieces are filled. Further, as described below, resin pipe pieces made of different materials may be filled.

The resin pipe piece has a size in the range of 2 to 10 mm in outer diameter, 0.2 to 0.4 mm in wall thickness, and 5 to 30 mm in length. The bag-like material filled with resin pipe pieces with a size in this range can give various grounding sensations, as well as various leg shifts and swinging sensations to the elderly and other trainees standing on it. It is. The hardness of the resin pipe piece is a factor that affects the sense of ground contact, displacement, and swinging that is given to a standing person, but it can contribute to the recovery and strengthening of the exercise / balance function of the trainer, and is painful. It is necessary to set the hardness within a range that does not give any. As the material of the resin pipe piece, a polyethylene resin is preferable because it can be easily obtained with a suitable hardness such as a high density polyethylene (HDPE) resin to a low density polyethylene (LDPE) resin and is excellent in availability. However, the material of the resin pipe piece is not particularly limited, and polypropylene resin, polyvinyl chloride resin, or the like can be used. Such a resin pipe piece can be easily prepared by cutting what is available as a resin pipe into a predetermined dimension.

The bag-like object 10 is filled with, for example, a resin pipe piece as shown in FIG. The resin pipe piece shown in FIG. 3 is a resin pipe piece made of HDPE resin having an outer diameter of 6 mm, a wall thickness of 0.4 mm and a length of 7 mm, and FIG. 3B is an outer diameter of 8 mm and a wall thickness of 0.2 mm. And a resin pipe piece made of LDPE resin having a length of 30 mm. Stepping on the bag-like material filled with the resin pipe piece of FIG. 3 (a) gives the feeling of walking on fine gravel. Then, when stepping on the bag-like material filled with the resin pipe piece of FIG. 3 (b), it gives the sensation of walking on a thick fallen leaf containing twigs inside. In order to give such a constant feeling to the trainee, it is necessary that the bag 10 is filled with the resin pipe piece 20 to the extent that the foot does not bottom when the trainee steps on. .

The bag-like object needs to have an area that can be stepped on the bag-like object or standing on one leg as it is. For example, the size can be 40 cm × 40 cm. The material of the bag-like material is preferably an elastic fabric. For example, a fabric made of polyamide resin fibers can be used.

In the present invention, as described above, the balance training pad is configured with a plurality of bags as a set. Therefore, the trainer can perform exercise and balance function training by stepping on a bag-like object with different characteristics, standing on one leg, and stepping on each to perform walking. . For this reason, it is preferable to have a connection part so that a bag-like thing can be connected between different bag-like things. The connecting portion of the bag-like object can be formed by snap buttons 13 and 14 provided on the bag-like object 10, for example, as shown in FIG. The bag-like article 10 of this example is provided with male snap buttons 13 on the right side and upper side, and with female snap buttons 14 on the left side and lower side. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 4, the bag 10A and the bag 10B can be connected.

In general, 3 to 6 bags are sufficient for the balance training pad, but the number can be increased as necessary. The bag-like material constituting the balance training pad is suitable for the trainer or the instructor to perform the necessary training for the trainer including the necessary number and the size and hardness of the resin pipe piece to be filled. It is preferable to select and set so that a predetermined training can be performed with a single set of various configurations.

The bag-shaped article is preferably provided with an inlet / outlet for the resin pipe piece so that the filling amount of the resin pipe piece can be increased / decreased or the resin pipe piece to be filled can be replaced as necessary. The entrance / exit can be formed by providing a fastener 15 on the bag 10 as shown in FIG.

<Characteristic confirmation test of resin pipe piece>
The center-of-gravity balance system (JK-101, Unimec Co., Ltd.) measures the center-of-gravity fluctuation with and without the balance training pad, and compares it to test the characteristics of the resin pipe piece. went. To measure the center of gravity swing, place a center of gravity swing meter on a balance training pad approximately 2 cm thick, and place the subject standing on both feet with their legs open for 30 seconds with their feet open and 3 meters in front. The measurement was performed by gazing at a marker placed at 1.5 m and measuring the unit trajectory length. The sampling frequency of the measurement was 20Hz.

The bag-like material constituting the balance training pad is the same as that shown in FIG. 1 and has a square shape with a dimension of about 40 cm and b dimension of about 45 cm, an outer diameter of 5 mm made of HDPE resin, long 8mm and 0.4mm thick resin pipe pieces filled with 430g (Test A) and HDPE resin 8mm outside diameter, 10mm long and 0.4mm thick resin pipe pieces filled with 465g ( Test B) was used. Test C was when no balance training pad was used. The subjects were 20 elderly people over the age of 65 (7 males, 13 females) (hereinafter referred to as the elderly group) and 30 healthy adults (15 males) with orthopedic disease who are going to or admitted to the Matterhorn Rehabilitation Hospital. , 15 women) (hereinafter referred to as the young group). The average age (± SD) of the elderly group was 80.2 ± 6.7 years, height was 148.7 ± 7.8 cm, and body weight was 46.4 ± 6 kg. The average age of the young group was 23.7 ± 2.2 years old, height was 164.5 ± 7.9 cm, and weight was 59.9 ± 8.6 kg. Comparison of tests A to C was performed using a one-way analysis of variance, and comparison of the center of gravity fluctuation between the elderly group and the young group was performed using an unpaired t-test, with a risk rate of less than 5% being significant. In addition, the said test was performed after giving the consent in writing after giving the subject the precaution of the test and various notes and explanations regarding the measurement.

Figure 2016067837
Figure 2016067837

The test results are shown in Table 1. According to Table 1, the average unit trajectory length (± SD) of the young group was 6.6 ± 1.9 mm / s in test A, 6.9 ± 1.4 mm / s in test B, and 6.1 ± 1.6 mm / s in test C. It was. There was no significant difference in trials A to C in the young group. On the other hand, the average unit locus length of the elderly group was 10.8 ± 3.1 mm / s in Test A, 13.0 ± 3.9 mm / s in Test B, and 9.2 ± 2.8 mm / s in Test C. In the elderly group, the unit trajectory length was significantly longer in trial B than in the standing position in trial C (p <0.05), and in the younger and older groups, the elderly group was significantly larger in trials AC. (P <0.05). According to the above results, it was found that the degree of center-of-gravity fluctuation can be changed by the size of the resin pipe piece filled in the bag-like material, and the degree of center-of-gravity fluctuation can be effectively changed in the elderly. <Effect confirmation test of balance training pad according to the present invention>
The balance training pad which consists of four bags shown in FIG. 5 was used, and the effect confirmation test of the balance training pad which concerns on this invention was done. As shown in FIG. 5, four types of bag-like objects with different filling amounts of resin pipe pieces made of two types of HDPE resin were arranged in a square shape. The subjects were 10 elderly persons over 65 years old with 3 years of orthopedic disease (3 males, 7 females, male: age) who had confirmed that there was no central nervous disease, dementia, or sensory impairment at the Matterhorn Rehabilitation Hospital. 79.2 ± 5.6 years old, height 165.2 ± 5.5 cm, weight 65.2 ± 7.5 kg, female: age 78.1 ± 7.8 years, height 148.4 ± 7.5 cm, weight 52.7 ± 8.1 kg). Measurement test items were center-of-gravity sway, timed up and go test (hereinafter TUG), and single leg standing time measurement. Each measurement test item was measured before and after the exercise (protocol A) was performed using the balance training pad, and before and after the exercise (protocol B) was simply performed on the ground. .

In Protocol A, as shown by the arrows from bag 1 to bag 4 shown in FIG. 5, each step was performed in order for 30 seconds, and then it was performed twice. The stepping rhythm was 30-60bpm, and I was instructed to do it at the slowest possible rhythm. Protocol B was stepped on the ground for 2 minutes at 30-60 bpm and 2 sets were performed. The center of gravity fluctuation was measured using a center-of-gravity balance system (JK-101, Unimec Co., Ltd.). TUG was measured 3 times and the minimum value was adopted. One leg standing time was measured three times with the eyes open, and the highest value was adopted. Statistical processing of the measurement results was performed in the same manner as the characteristic confirmation test of the resin pipe piece.

The test results are shown in Table 2. According to Table 2, in Protocol A, the unit trajectory length is 9.4 ± 2.5 mm / s before implementation, 7.9 ± 2.0 mm / s after implementation, TUG is 7.9 ± 1.0 seconds before implementation, and 7.4 ± 0.9 seconds after implementation The standing time for one leg is 12.6 ± 10.8 seconds before the right implementation, 20.0 ± 14.5 seconds after the implementation, 22.0 ± 13.5 seconds before the implementation on the left, and 23.0 ± 13.7 seconds after the implementation. In other cases, significant improvement was observed (unit locus length, right leg standing time: p <0.05, TUG: p <0.01). In Protocol B, the unit trajectory length is 9.9 ± 3.1 mm / s before the implementation, 8.9 ± 3.0 mm / s after the implementation, TUG is 8.4 ± 1.8 seconds before the implementation, 7.8 ± 1.4 seconds after the implementation, one leg standing time Was 17.4 ± 14.5 seconds before the right implementation, 16.5 ± 12.3 seconds after the implementation, 22.0 ± 13.5 seconds before the implementation on the left, and 23.6 ± 13.7 seconds after the implementation. Only TUG showed a significant improvement. (P <0.05). According to the above, it can be seen that if the exercise is performed using the balance training pad according to the present invention, the immediate effect is clearly shown in both the static balance and the dynamic balance. It was found that the balance ability of the person was improved immediately.
