Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の二酸化チタン微粒子分散複合粒子(1)は、シリカ粒子(10)と、二酸化チタン微粒子(20)とを備える。二酸化チタン微粒子(20)は、シリカ粒子(10)の内部に分散されている。二酸化チタン微粒子(20)は、2nm〜8nmの平均一次粒子径を有するルチル型である。

前記シリカ粒子の内部に分散された、2nm〜8nmの平均一次粒子径を有するルチル型の二酸化チタン微粒子と、を備えた、
二酸化チタン微粒子分散複合粒子を提供する。
上記の二酸化チタン微粒子分散複合粒子を含む、化粧料を提供する。
まず、実施例1、比較例1、及び比較例2に係る複合粒子の光の透過率に関する評価方法を説明する。実施例1、比較例1、及び比較例2に係る複合粒子をそれぞれ二酸化チタン微粒子の濃度が0.1質量%となるように複合粒子をイオン交換水に分散させ、5分間の超音波処理を行って試料を調製した。これらの試料を光路長2mmのセルに入れて分光光度計(島津製作所社製、製品名:UV−3600)によって波長280nm〜700nmの光に対する透過率を測定した。測定結果を図5に示す。
実施例1、比較例1、及び比較例2に係る化粧料をそれぞれ用いてポリプロピレンフィルムに約10μmの膜厚を有する均一な塗膜を作製した。得られたそれぞれの塗膜に対して、分光光度計(日立ハイテクノロジーズ社製、製品名:U−4100)を用いて透過率曲線を得た。測定結果を図6に示す。また、各塗膜の透過率曲線から、可視光領域(400nm〜700nm)の波長における透過率積分値を求めた。結果を表2に示す。
実施例1、比較例1、及び比較例2に係る化粧料をそれぞれポリメタクリル酸メチル(PMMA)製の板に2mg/cm2塗布して形成した塗膜に対し、SPF ANALYZER(Labsphere社製、製品名:UV−2000S)を用いて、SPF(Sun Protection Factor)値を測定した。このようにして、実施例1、比較例1、及び比較例2に係る化粧料の紫外線遮蔽特性を測定した。測定結果を表2に示す。
(複合粒子の作製)
アルカリ性のシリカゾル(日本化学工業社製、商品名:シリカドール30S)とチタニアゾル(テイカ社製、商品名:TS−226)とを、チタニアゾルの固形分の質量が固形分全体の質量の約25%となるように混合して混合ゾルを得た。シリカドール30Sは、水を分散媒とするpH9.0〜10.5のコロイダルシリカであり、含まれているコロイド粒子の粒子径は7〜10nmであった。TS−226は、ルチル型の二酸化チタン微粒子を分散質として含み、水を分散媒として含むゾルであった。TS−226における二酸化チタン微粒子の含有率は17.9%であった。TS−226のpHは6〜7であり、TS−226におけるコロイド粒子である二酸化チタン微粒子の粒子径は2〜8nmであった。
表1に示した各成分を混合した混合物を加熱して、各成分を溶解させ、A相を得た。表1に示した各成分を混合した混合物を加熱して、各成分を溶解させ、B相を得た。実施例1に係る複合粒子をB相に表1に示す分量で加え、ディスパーミキサーを用いて、B相に実施例1に係る複合粒子を均一に分散させた。次に、実施例1に係る複合粒子をB相に均一に分散させた分散液にA相を加え、ホモミキサーを用いて加熱しながら乳化させ、その後30℃まで冷却して実施例1に係る化粧料を得た。実施例1に係る化粧料は、水中油型の化粧料であった。
純水1125gに、二酸化チタン微粒子(テイカ社製、製品名:MT−100AQ、平均一次粒子径:15nm)500gと、ポリアクリル酸アンモニウム系界面活性剤(コグニス社製、製品名:HYDROPALAT 5050)42gを加え、0.65mm径のジルコニアビーズ4kgとともに、横型連続式湿式媒体攪拌ミル(シンマルエンタープライゼス社製、製品名:ダイノーミルKDL−PILOT A型)で2時間循環攪拌(攪拌速度:周速8m/秒、流速:1L/分)し、二酸化チタン微粒子の分散液A1を得た。
純水1125gに、二酸化チタン微粒子(石原産業社製、製品名:CR−50、平均一次粒子径:250nm)500gと、ポリアクリル酸アンモニウム系界面活性剤(コグニス社製、製品名:HYDROPALAT 5050)42gを加え、0.65mm径のジルコニアビーズ4kgとともに、横型連続式湿式媒体攪拌ミル(シンマルエンタープライゼス社製、製品名:ダイノーミルKDL−PILOT A型)で2時間循環攪拌(攪拌速度:周速8m/秒、流速:1L/分)し、二酸化チタン微粒子の分散液B1を得た。

- 当該二酸化チタン分散複合粒子は、フレーク形状を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の二酸化チタン微粒子分散複合粒子。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の二酸化チタン微粒子分散複合粒子を含む、化粧料。
