Abstract
Description
該フープ部材が曲げ部を有する断面形状を有し、そして
該曲げ部における該フープ部材の曲げ角度がα(°)であり、かつ該曲げ部における該フープ部材の曲率半径がr(mm)である場合に、以下の式(I):
(1)フープ直線部218,220,222,224の各長さが、互いに略同一である;
(2)フープ直線部218,224の各長さが互いに略同一であり、そしてフープ直線部220,222の各長さが互いに略同一である;
(3)フープ直線部218,220の各長さが互いに略同一であり、そしてフープ直線部222,224の各長さが互いに略同一である。
の関係を有する。
厚み0.13mmおよび幅7.1mmのSUS304帯鋼を絞り加工することにより、断面形状が、表1に示す曲げ部の角度および曲率半径を有し、かつW字状であるフープ部材を作製した。なお、作製したW字の断面形状を有するフープ部材は、図6に示す角度α1、α2およびα3がすべて同一であり、かつフープ直線部218,220,222,224がすべて同一のものであった。このフープ部材の片面に、厚み1.0mmおよび幅7.5mmの膨張黒鉛テープを重ね、加圧ロールにて10kgfの荷重を負荷しながら、うず巻状に3回成巻した試験ガスケットを各フープ部材(曲げ部の角度αおよび曲率半径rの異なる各フープ部材)について複数個ずつ作製した。なお、得られた試験ガスケットでは、中央に直径49mmの開口部を有し、かつ試験ガスケットの外周および内周は上記フープ部材と同様のSUS304帯鋼を用いた補強を行った。その結果、作製された全ての試験ガスケットにおいて、フィラ部材の密度は1.0〜1.2g/cm3の範囲内であり、そして試験ガスケット全体の密度は2.1〜2.4g/cm3の範囲内であった。
ダイヤルゲージ(株式会社共和電業製DT−20D)にて測定した。各試験ガスケットについて、圧縮量が1.8mm〜2.2mmの範囲内であった場合を「○」と判定し、当該範囲を逸脱する場合を「×」と判定した。得られた結果を「圧」と記載した欄にて表1に示す。
実施例1と同様のSUS304帯鋼を絞り加工することにより、断面形状が、表1に示すような種々の曲げ部の角度および曲率半径を有し、かつV字状であるフープ部材を作製した。なお、作製したV字の断面形状を有するフープ部材は、図3に示すフープ直線部114,116が同一のものであった。このフープ部材を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、試験ガスケットを作製した。
フィラ部材として、膨張黒鉛テープの代わりに、厚み1.0mmおよび幅7.5mmの無機ペーパー(ロックウールを主材料とするもの)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、当該フィラ部材と、断面形状が表1に示すような種々の曲げ部の角度および曲率半径を有し、かつW字状であるフープ部材とを用いた試験ガスケット(RW)を作製した。

Claims (6)
- 前記曲げ部における前記フープ部材の前記曲げ角度αが80°から140°である、請求項1に記載のうず巻形ガスケット。
- 前記曲げ部における前記フープ部材の前記曲率半径rが0.2mmから1.2mmである、請求項1または2に記載のうず巻形ガスケット。
- 前記フープ部材がステンレス鋼から構成されており、そして前記フィラ部材が1g/cm3から1.2g/cm3の密度を有しかつ膨張黒鉛から構成されている、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のうず巻形ガスケット。
- 全体として、2.1g/cm3から2.4g/cm3の密度を有する、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のうず巻形ガスケット。
- 面圧10MPaにて圧縮した際の、圧縮された曲げ部における前記フープ部材の曲げ角度α’が40°から120°であり、かつ該圧縮された曲げ部における該フープ部材の曲率半径r’が0.1mmから0.6mmである、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のうず巻形ガスケット。
