Abstract

To provide a product display label which is visible not only from a front side but also a lateral side of a displayed product by a customer.SOLUTION: A product display label 1 is used for a hooked display in which a product is suspended on a hook-type fixture 20. The label configured to be detachably attached to the hook-type fixture 20 extending in a horizontal direction, includes: a support part 2 having a predefined width; and a pair of display bodies 3, 3 integrally provided to both ends of the support part 2 in a width direction and extending in a downward direction. Description

The present invention relates to product display tags, and more specifically to product display technology for displaying product origins and advertisements in various stores and exhibition spaces.

In the product display areas of various stores, mass retailers, and exhibitions, products are hung from hook-type display fixtures attached to the walls of the product display area (hook display) and displayed, and the products are also displayed.

Common methods of displaying products include attaching stickers or tags to the displayed products to advertise them to shoppers and visitors, and also displaying prices on the display hooks.

All of these product display means are oriented in the direction that is best seen by shoppers and visitors, that is, toward the front of the displayed products, and are designed so that shoppers and visitors can primarily see the displayed products from the front side. This is thought to be because, in display corners, multiple products are displayed side by side, so visibility of the product displays from the side, or side, of the displayed products was not given much importance.

To the best of the applicant's knowledge, there are no patent documents or other documents disclosing these conventional product display technologies.

However, since customers often select products based on the product's origin, i.e., manufacturer or seller, conventional product displays that only allow viewing from the front can result in exhibitors (sellers, sellers, etc.) losing out on customers they should be attracting, and there has been a demand for further improvements in product displays.

The present invention was made in consideration of these conventional problems, and its purpose is to provide shoppers and others with product display tags that can be seen not only from the front of the displayed products, but also from the sides.

To achieve the above objective, the product display tag of the present invention is a product display tag used in hook displays in which products are hung from hook-type fixtures, and is characterized in that it has a structure that allows it to be removably attached to and supported by the hook-type fixture that extends horizontally forward, and is equipped with a support part having a predetermined width, and a pair of display bodies that are integrally formed at both ends of the support part in the width direction and extend downward, and the outer surface of the display body is made into a product display surface that can be viewed from the side.

As a preferred embodiment, the following configuration is adopted.
(1) The support portion comprises a horizontal plate having a predetermined front-to-rear width covering the upper side of the hook-type fixture, and a pair of front and rear support plates formed by bending downwardly at the front and rear edges of the horizontal plate, and each of the pair of support plates is provided with a hanging support portion that is supported in a detachable and hanging manner by the hook-type fixture, and the hanging support portion is provided in the widthwise center of the support plate.

(2) The hanging support portion consists of a support hole through which the hook-type fixture is inserted and a cut slit that extends downward from the support hole and faces the lower end of the support plate.

(3) The pair of display bodies are formed in a rectangular shape having a front-to-rear width equal to the front-to-rear width of the support portion and a predetermined vertical width, and the outer surfaces of the pair of display bodies are the product display surfaces visible from the side.

(4) A protruding display portion that protrudes forward is integrally provided at the front end of the pair of display bodies, and the outer surface of this protruding display portion serves as a product display surface that is visible from the side.

(5) It has a surface that can be subjected to display processing such as printing, and is made of a single thin plate material having the support part and the pair of display bodies, and is configured so that it can be folded and assembled into a three-dimensional structure.

The product display tag of the present invention is used in hook displays in which products are hung from hook-type fixtures, and is structured to be removably attached to and supported by the hook-type fixture that extends horizontally forward, and is equipped with a support section having a predetermined width and a pair of display bodies that are integrally formed at both ends of the width of the support section and extend downward, and the outer surface of the display body is made into a product display surface that is visible from the side, resulting in the effects listed below and making it possible to provide shoppers and the like with a product display tag that is visible not only from the front side of the displayed product but also from the side.

(1) The display has a structure that allows it to be removably attached to and supported by a hook-type fixture that extends horizontally forward, and a pair of display bodies that extend downward are provided at both widthwise ends of a support section that has a specified width, and the outer surface of the display body is made into a product display surface that can be seen from the side, allowing shoppers and the like to see the product display not only from the front of the displayed products, but also from the side. In particular, for shoppers and the like who often rely on product origin displays to select products, being able to see the product origin displays, etc. from the side of the products allows them to find the products they are looking for without accidentally overlooking them, and also enables sellers and other display personnel to reliably secure shoppers and the like that they should have without missing out.

(2) A pair of display bodies extending downward are provided at both widthwise ends of a support section having a predetermined width. When the product display tag is attached and supported in a hanging manner on a hook-type fixture, the pair of display bodies function as a balance weight that balances the left and right sides, thereby providing a stable support state for the product display tag.

(3) The pair of display bodies are formed in a rectangular shape having a front-to-rear width equal to the front-to-rear width of the support portion and a predetermined vertical width, and the outer surface thereof is made into a product display surface that is visible from the side, thereby realizing a large product display that is visible from the side of the product.

(4) A protruding display portion that protrudes forward is integrally provided at the front end of the pair of display bodies, and the outer surface of this protruding display portion is made into a product display surface that is visible from the side of the product display section. Therefore, even when various products are displayed side by side in the product display section, the origin indications of the displayed products can be seen from the side of the product display section without being obstructed by other displayed products, making the effect of (1) above more pronounced.

The following describes in detail an embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings. Note that the same reference numerals throughout the drawings indicate the same components or elements.

EMBODIMENT 1
The product display tag of the present invention is shown in Figures 1 to 7, and this product display tag 1 is specifically used in a hook display in which a product (a frying pan in the illustrated example) 21 is hung from a hook-type display fixture 20 as shown in Figure 6.

As shown in FIG. 1, the product display tag 1 has a three-dimensional structure that includes a support part 2 and a pair of display bodies 3, 3.

The product display tag 1 in the illustrated embodiment has, as its basic structure, the product display surfaces 9, 9 provided on the display bodies 3, 3, and is specifically a folded assembly made of a single thin plate material 15 as shown in Figure 5.

The support part 2 is structured to be removably attached to and supported by the hook-type fixture 20, which extends horizontally forward, and has a predetermined width W.

The support section 2 specifically consists of a horizontal plate 5 and a pair of front and rear support plates 6, 6.

The horizontal plate 5 covers the upper side of the hook-type fixture 20 and has a predetermined front-to-rear width L.

The support plates 6 are provided in pairs at the front and rear edges of the horizontal plate 5, and these support plates 6, 6 are bent downward from the front and rear edges of the horizontal plate 5.

The pair of support plates 6, 6 are parts that are supported in a suspended manner on the hook-type fixture 20, and for this purpose, each of them is provided with a hanging support part 7 that is detachably supported in a suspended manner on the hook-type fixture 20.

The hanging support part 7 is provided in the center of the width of the support plate 6 and consists of a support hole 7a through which the hook-type fixture 20 is inserted and a cut-out slit 7b that extends downward from the support hole 7a and faces the lower end of the support plate 6.

The support hole 7a has an inner diameter slightly larger than the outer diameter of the hook-type fixture 20 and is formed in the center of the width of the support plate 6, so that the product display tag 1 is positioned and supported on the hook-type fixture 20 in a balanced manner. In this case, the pair of left and right display bodies 3, 3 also function as a balance weight.

The cut slit 7b functions as a guide to allow the hook-type fixture 20 to be inserted into the support hole 7a.

Specifically, when the hook-type fixture 20 is inserted and locked into the support hole 7a, the support plate 6 undergoes slight elastic deformation and the cut slit 7b opens, allowing the hook-type fixture 20 to pass through the lower end of the support plate 6 into the support hole 7a. When the hook-type fixture 20 is inserted and locked into the support hole 7a, the support plate 6 elastically returns to its original position and the cut slit 7b closes, ensuring that the support hole 7a is securely inserted and locked into the hook-type fixture 20. As a result, the product display tag 1 is supported and positioned in a balanced manner on the left and right sides of the hook-type fixture 20.

The display body 3 is integrally provided on both widthwise ends 2a, 2a of the support part 2, and is formed to extend downward from the support part 2. As described above, the display body 3 functions as a left-right balance weight when the product display tag 1 is hung and supported on the hook-type fixture 20, and as shown in Figures 1 and 3, its outer surface 9 is a product display surface that can be viewed from the side of the product display tag 1, that is, from the side of the product 21 hung and displayed on the hook-type fixture 20.

The pair of display bodies 3, 3 are basically rectangular with a front-to-rear width equal to the front-to-rear width L of the support portion 2 and a predetermined vertical width H, and the outer surfaces 9, 9 of the pair of display bodies 3, 3 are product display surfaces visible from the side as described above. As the product display surface 9 has a large display area, it is effective to display product advertisements on it. Note that in FIG. 1, the rectangular frame drawn by imaginary lines on the display body 3 represents the standard shape and dimensions of the product display surface 9.

Furthermore, small protruding display parts 10, 10 that protrude forward are integrally provided at the front end parts of the pair of display bodies 3, 3.

When the front end of the display body 3 is positioned and supported so that it is approximately aligned with the front end of the product display section, the protruding display section 10 protrudes slightly forward from the front end of the product display section, and as a result, the product display surface 11 of the protruding display section 10 becomes a product display surface that is visible from the side of the product display section. On the product display surface 11 of the protruding display section 10, which protrudes forward of the product display section and is visible from the side, it is extremely effective to display an indication of origin (indication indicating the manufacturing company, sales company, etc.) such as the logo of the exhibiting company. In FIG. 1, the rectangular frame drawn by imaginary lines on the protruding display section 10 represents the standard shape and dimensions of the product display surface 11 on the protruding display section 10.

As described above, the product display tag 1 of this embodiment has as its basic structure the product display surface 9 of the display body 3 that is visible from the side, and the product display surface 11 of the protruding display portion 10, and is a folded assembly made of a single thin plate material 15 as shown in Figure 5.

Specifically, the product display tag 1 of this embodiment is assembled into a three-dimensional structure as shown in FIG. 1 by folding the thin plate material 15 at right angles at the locations indicated by dotted lines and connecting and fixing predetermined locations with an appropriate adhesive means or the like. The thin plate material 15 is made of a material that can be folded and assembled into a three-dimensional structure, preferably made of paper or plastic, and the thin plate material 15 in the illustrated embodiment is made of paper having a surface that can be displayed by printing or the like.

However, the product display tag 1 constructed as described above is attached forward of the position of the product 21 (a frying pan in the illustrated example) hung from the base portion of the hook-type fixture 20, as shown in FIG. 7.

When attaching the product display tag 1 to the hook-type fixture 20, as shown in FIG. 7(a), the product display tag 1 is placed over the hook-type fixture 20 to which it is to be attached from above, and the hanging support parts 7, 7 of the pair of front and rear support plates 6, 6 of the support part 2 are dropped into the hook-type fixture 20 while aligning them with the hook-type fixture 20. As shown in FIG. 7(b), these hanging support parts 7, 7 are engaged and supported by the hook-type fixture 20, and the product display tag 1 is attached to the hook-type fixture 20 in a hanging manner.

As described above in detail, the product display tag 1 of this embodiment provides the unique advantages listed below.

(a) The display has a structure that allows it to be removably attached to and supported by a hook-shaped fixture 20 that extends horizontally forward. A pair of display bodies 3, 3 that extend downward are provided at both widthwise ends of a support section 2 having a specified width, and the outer surface 9 of the display body 3 is a product display surface 9, 9 that can be seen from the side, allowing shoppers and the like to see the product display not only from the front side of the displayed product, but also from the side. In particular, shoppers and the like who often rely on the origin instructions of the product 21 (a frying pan in the illustrated example) to select a product can see the origin indication, etc. from the side of the product 21 and can find the product they are looking for without accidentally overlooking it. This also enables sellers and other display personnel to reliably secure shoppers and the like that they should have without missing out.

(b) A pair of display bodies 3, 3 extending downward are provided at both widthwise ends of the support section 2 having a predetermined width. When the product display tag 1 is attached and supported in a hanging manner on the hook-type fixture 20, the pair of display bodies 3, 3 function as a balance weight to balance the left and right sides, thereby providing a stable support state for the product display tag 1.

(c) The pair of display bodies 3, 3 are formed in a rectangular shape having the same front-to-rear width as the support part 2 and a predetermined vertical width H, and their outer surfaces are made into a product display surface 9 that is visible from the side, thereby realizing a large product display that is visible from the side of the product 21.

(d) A protruding display portion 10, 10 that protrudes forward is integrally provided at the front end of the pair of display bodies 3, 3, and the outer surface of this protruding display portion 10 is made into a product display surface 11 that is visible from the side of the product display section. Therefore, even when various products are displayed side by side in the product display section, the origin indications of the displayed products 21 can be seen from the side of the product display section without being obstructed by the other displayed products, making the effect of (a) above more pronounced.

EMBODIMENT 2
This embodiment is shown in FIG. 8, and the configuration of the display body 3 in the product display tag 1 of the first embodiment is slightly modified.

That is, in the product display tag 31 of this embodiment, the front end portions of the pair of display bodies 3, 3 are formed in a straight line as shown in the figure, and the small protruding display portion 10 protruding forward as in embodiment 1 is not provided. Note that, in Fig. 8, the two rectangular frames drawn by imaginary lines on the display body 3 represent other standard shapes and dimensions different from those of the product display surface 9 of embodiment 1.
The other configurations and operations are the same as those of the first embodiment.

Note that the above-mentioned embodiments 1 and 2 merely show preferred implementations of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to these embodiments, and various design modifications are possible within the scope of the embodiments.

For example, the shapes and dimensions of the parts constituting the product display tags 1, 31 in the illustrated embodiments 1, 2 can be other configurations as long as they have similar purposes and functions. As an example, the specific shapes and dimensions of the display body 3 and the protruding display part 10 can be modified depending on the purpose.

A product display tag used in a hook display where a product is hung on a hook-type fixture,
A support portion having a structure that is removably attached to and supported by the hook-type fixture extending horizontally forward, the support portion having a predetermined width;
a pair of display bodies integrally provided at both widthwise ends of the support part and extending downward;
A product display tag, characterized in that the outer surface of the display body is a product display surface that is visible from the side. The support portion includes a horizontal plate having a predetermined width in the front-rear direction that covers the upper side of the hook-type fixture, and a pair of front and rear support plates that are bent downward at the front and rear end edges of the horizontal plate,
The pair of support plates are each provided with a hanging support portion that is detachably supported by the hook-type fixture in a hanging manner,
