Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、生理用ナプキン、使
い捨ておむつ等の使い捨ての体液処理用品に使用する透
液性の表面シートに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、使い捨ての体液処理用品の透液性
表面シートに、開口プラスチックシートや不織布を素材
として使用することが多い。開口プラスチックシートの
場合には、表面から裏面方向へ延出する導液管を設け、
その先端開口部を吸収体に接触させておくと体液を速や
かに吸収体へ移行させることができる。この種技術に関
し、例えば、特公昭５７−１７０８１号公報にはテーパ
を有する導液管が開示され、また、特開昭６０−２５９
２６１号公報には円筒状の導液管が開示されている。一
方、不織布の場合にはプラスチックシートにない柔軟な
肌触りがあって、着用感のよい体液処理用品をつくるこ
とができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】このような利点を有す
る従来技術であるが、開口プラスチックシートの場合に
は、プラスチックシートに特有のツルツルした感じの肌
触りや、光沢のある外観が好まれず、それに代えて布様
の肌触り・外観に近づけることがしばしば求められる。
また、不織布の場合には、開口プラスチックシートのよ
うに速やかに体液を吸収体へ移行させ、移行後にはシー
ト表面を乾燥状態に保つ能力、いわゆるドライタッチ感
が乏しいから、その点について改良を求められることが
多い。これら両素材の長所を生かし、短所を補うことを
目的に熱可塑性繊維を融着してシート状にしたメルトブ
ロー不織布を使用する技術が、例えば特開平３−５１３
５５号公報に開示されている。この技術によれば布様の
柔軟な肌触りと光沢の少ない外観とを備えた導液管つき
の表面シートをつくることができる。しかし、メルトブ
ロー不織布は一般に繊度が小さく、そのために腰が弱
く、導液管が体圧を受けて潰れたり、先端開口部が歪み
易く、体液の速やかな移行が妨げられ易いという問題が
ある。
【０００４】そこで、この発明では、メルトブロー不織
布からなり、かつ導液管を備える上部シート層と、その
裏面側に設けた下部繊維層とで表面シートを構成するこ
とにより、前記問題を解決することを課題にしている。
【０００５】
【課題を解決するための手段】この発明が前記課題を解
決するために要旨とするところは、表面から裏面方向へ
延出する導液管を備えた体液吸収性物品の表面シートを
前提とし、この表面シートを、メルトブロー不織布から
なり、かつ、導液管を備えている坪量１０〜１００ｇ／
ｍ2の上部シート層と、この上部シート層裏面側にあっ
て前記導液管とその先端開口部近傍で接合する繊度１〜
１０デニール・坪量１０〜４０ｇ／ｍ2・密度０．０１
〜０．１ｇ／ｃｍ3の下部繊維層とによって構成するこ
とにある。

【作用】この発明に係る表面シートは、メルトブロー不
織布からなる上部シート層と、その裏面側にあって導液
管の先端部と接合する下部繊維層とによって構成し、導
液管の形状をこの下部繊維層により補強するようにして
あるから、この導液管は潰れ難く、先端開口部が歪んだ
りすることも少ない。それにより、表面シートから吸収
体への体液の移行が速やかであり、加えて布様の肌触り
と外観とを得ることができる。

【実施例】この発明の詳細を添付の図に基づいて説明す
ると、以下のとおりである。
【０００８】図１は、この発明に係る表面シート２を使
用した生理用ナプキン１を一部破断して示す斜視図であ
る。生理用ナプキン１は、透液性表面シート２、不透液
性裏面シート３、およびこれら両シート２，３間に介在
する吸収体４からなり、この吸収体４の周囲から延出す
る両シート２，３が密に接合してある。
【０００９】図２は、図１におけるＸ−Ｘ線断面の部分
拡大図であって、表面シート２の詳細を示す。表面シー
ト２は、熱可塑性繊維が互いに融着してなる上部シート
層１０と、このシート層１０に剛性を与えるために、そ
の裏面に設けた下部繊維層１１とによって構成してあ
る。上部シート層１０には、その表面１２から裏面１３
方向へ延出し、上下端に開口１５ａ，１５ｂを有する導
液管１５を設け、このシート層１０を透液性にしてあ
る。その透液性を著しく損うことがない程度に下部繊維
層１１は開口１５ｂを覆い、かつ、少なくとも一部の導
液管１５と開口１５ｂの近傍でホットメルト接着剤１８
を介して接合している。このような下部繊維層１１は、
上部シート層１０に圧縮復元性を与え、また、導液管１
５を裏面側から支えて補強し、導液管１５が潰れたり、
開口１５ｂが歪むのを防いでいる。さらに、この下部繊
維層１１は吸収体４と接触しており、毛管作用により導
液管１５に導かれた体液を吸収体４へ速やかに移行させ
ることができる。開口１５ｂにおいて、下部繊維層１１
を構成する一部の繊維が導液管１５の中に入り込むこと
があり、入り込んだ繊維は、毛管作用により体液を吸収
体４へと引き込む効果を奏する。
【００１０】上部シート層１０にはメルトブロー不織
布、例えばオレフィン系・ポリエステル系・ポリアミド
系等の熱可塑性繊維からなる坪量１０〜１００ｇ／ｍ2
のメルトブロー不織布を使用する。メルトブロー不織布
は、一般に繊度の小さい繊維からなり、布様の柔軟な肌
触りや光沢の少ない外観を得ることが容易である。この
不織布は、坪量の多少や二次的な加熱加圧処理の有無等
により通気性、または非通気性になし得るが、そのいず
れであっても上部シート層１０として使用することがで
きる。メルトブロー不織布に導液管１５を設けるには、
不織布製造工程においてメルトブロー繊維を所定形状の
開口を有する型板に吹きつけて賦型する特開平３−５１
３５５号公報に開示の技術を利用することができる。
【００１１】下部繊維層１１には、一般的な熱可塑性繊
維、例えば繊度１〜１０デニール・坪量１０〜４０ｇ／
ｍ2・密度０．０１〜０．１ｇ／ｃｍ3のポリエチレン・
ポリプロピレンなどの繊維を使用することができる。下
部繊維層１１には、体液による湿潤下の圧縮復元性をあ
まり低下させない限り若干のレーヨンなどの親水性繊維
や表面を親水化したポリエステルなどのいわゆる吸汗合
成繊維を混合することができ、かつ、これによって体液
の吸収体４への移行性をよくすることができる。
【００１２】上部シート層１０と、下部繊維層１１とを
接合するには、ホットメルト型接着剤やその他の接着剤
・粘着剤を開口１５ｂ周縁や下部繊維層１１に塗布して
おき圧着すればよいが、その他に、上部シート層１０や
下部繊維層１１に使用した繊維を熱融溶して接合するこ
ともできる。
【００１３】導液管１５は、その上端の開口１５ａにお
いて口径を０．２〜３ｍｍ、好ましくは０．７〜２ｍｍ
にし、開口率を１０〜７０％、高さを０．３〜５ｍｍ、
かつ、下端の開口１５ｂにおいて口径を開口１５ａの３
０〜２００％の範囲におさめることが、体液を吸収体４
に速やかに導き、しかもその逆流を少なくするうえで好
ましい。
【００１４】不透液性裏面シート３にはポリエチレンシ
ートを使用し、吸収体４には粉砕パルプと高吸水性ポリ
マーとの混合物をティシューペーパーで被覆したものを
使用することができる。

【発明の効果】この発明に係る表面シートでは、導液管
を備えたメルトブロー不織布からなる上部シート層に下
部繊維層を接合して導液管を補強したから、導液管が潰
れ難く、その先端開口部は歪むことが少なく、体液の移
行が速やかであって、しかも、布様の肌触りと外観とが
得ることができる。

    シ−ト層裏面側にあって、前記導液管とその先端開口部
    近傍で接合する繊度１〜１０デニール・坪量１０〜４０
    ｇ／ｍ2・密度０．０１〜０．１ｇ／ｃｍ3の下部繊維層
    とによって構成してあることを特徴とする前記表面シ−
    ト。
