【発明の詳細な説明】

【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、多段形オープンシ
ョーケースを実施対象としたショーケースに関し、詳し
くは間口幅の広い大形ショーケースに採用するフロント
構造に係わる。
【0002】
【従来の技術】まず、本発明の実施対象となる多段形オ
ープンショーケースの従来構造を図4に示す。図におい
て、1は前面開放形のケース本体、2は左右の側板、3
は上下段に並べて庫内に設置した商品陳列棚、4はケー
ス本体1の舟底と呼ばれる外箱5の底部前面に支持金具
を介して取付けた電源用端子ボックス、6は端子ボック
ス4を含めてケース本体1の外箱底部のフロント側全域
をカバーする化粧用のフロント部であり、該フロント部
6はフロントキャップ7,上段フロントパネル8,バン
パーレール9、下段フロントパネル10,キックプレー
ト11などを組合わせた構成になり、フロント部6を構
成する個々の部材はショーケースの間口幅Lに合わせた
長手寸法に作られている。
【0003】かかる構成のショーケースは、工場から出
荷する際には前記した電源用端子ボックス4の前面に並
べた下段のフロントパネル10を外しておき、ショーケ
ースを納入先の店舗に据付けて店内側の電源との間で配
線工事を行った後に、フロントパネル10をショーケー
スのフロント部6に組み込んでねじ止めするようにして
いる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、前記構成で
は現地で実施する据付け施工面で次記のような難点があ
る。すなわち、電源配線後に外しておいたフロントパネ
ルを取付ける際に、間口幅が4尺,6尺である2m以下
の小形ショーケースでは特に問題がないが、間口幅が広
い8尺,9尺,12尺の大形ショーケースではフロント
パネル10が長尺で重量も重いことから、作業員一人で
は手で支えながらねじ止めする取付け作業が非常に困難
であり、実際には作業を二人の作業員で進めているのが
現状である。また、ショーケースの据付後に行う保守点
検時でも同様である。
【0005】本発明は上記の点にかんがみなされたもの
であり、その目的は前記課題を解決し、間口幅の広い大
形ショーケースを対象に、納入先の据付現場で実施する
電源配線、あるいは保守点検に関連して行うフロントパ
ネルの装脱作業が作業員一人で楽に取り扱えるように
し、併せて少ない種類の標準分割フロントパネルを用意
するだけで、間口寸法の異なる各種仕様の大形ショーケ
ースにも対応できるようにしたショーケースを提供する
ことにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
に、本発明によれば、上下段に並ぶフロントパネルのう
ち、端子ボックスの取付け高さに対応する段のフロント
パネルをその長手方向で分割して分割フロントパネルを
構成し、該分割フロントパネルとして長手寸法が3尺,
4尺,6尺である3種類の標準長さの分割フロントパネ
ルを用意して、その組合わせにより間口幅が8尺,9
尺,12尺の大形ショーケースに対応させるようにする
とともに、端子ボックスの前面をカバーする分割フロン
トパネルを装脱可能に取付けるものとする。
【0007】また、前記構成においては、分割フロント
パネルの長手方向の端部に、L字形に縁曲げ加工を施し
て突き合わせフランジ部を形成するのがよい。
【0008】上記の構成により、納入先現地で実施する
端子ボックスへの電源配線、あるいは保守点検に関連し
てフロントパネルを装脱する際に、あらかじめ短尺寸法
に作られた標準長さ(3尺,4尺,6尺)の分割フロン
トパネルで間口幅が8尺,9尺,12尺の大形ショーケ
ースにも対応でき、これにより作業員一人でもフロント
パネルの装着作業が楽に進められる。
【0009】また、分割フロントパネルについて、その
長手方向の両端に縁曲げした突き合わせフランジ部を形
成しておくことにより、フロントパネルの取付け位置合
わせが容易となるほか、その分割フロントパネルの継目
にトリムなどの別な連結部材を被せて端面保護を図る必
要もないなどの利点が得られる。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基
づいて説明する。なお、実施例の図中で図4に対応する
同一部材には同じ符号が付してある。図1において、外
箱5の舟底部5aのフロント側に上下段に並べて装着し
たフロントパネルのうち、電源用端子ボックス4の取付
け高さ位置に並ぶ下段のフロントパネル10が、左右に
並ぶ2枚の分割フロントパネル10a,10bに分割さ
れており、かつ分割フロントパネル10a,10bの長
手方向の両端部には、図2で示すように裏側に縁曲げ加
工を施して突き合わせフランジ部10cが形成されてい
る。
【0011】また、前記の分割フロントパネル10a,
10bとしては、図3(a)〜(c)で示すよに長手寸
法を3尺,4尺,6尺に設定した3種類の標準長さのフ
ロントパネルを組立部品として用意しておき、次記のよ
うに間口幅Lが8尺,9尺,12尺である代表的な仕様
の大形ショーケースに対応させるようにしている。すな
わち、間口幅Lが8尺のショーケースに対しては、図3
(d)のように前記した標準長さから選択した長さ4尺
の分割フロントパネルを2枚を左右に並べて使う。ま
た、間口幅Lが9尺のショーケースには、図3(e)の
ように3尺と6尺の分割フロントパネルを組合わせ、さ
らに12尺のショーケースでは図3(f)のように6尺
の分割フロントパネルを2枚組合わせる。なお、間口幅
が3尺,4尺,6尺である小形のショーケースでは、前
記した標準長さのフロントパネルをそのまま単独で採用
することができる。
【0012】そして、大形のショーケースでは、左右に
分割した分割フロントパネル10a,10bのうち、シ
ョーケースの工場出荷時には端子ボックス4の前方をカ
バーする右側の分割フロントパネル10bは取り外して
おき、納入先の店舗に搬入して据付けて電源配線を施し
た後に、外しておいて分割フロントパネル10bを装着
してねじ止め固定するものとする。この場合に、分割フ
ロントパネルの端部に形成されているフランジ部10c
同士を突き合わせることで簡単に位置合わせが行える。
また、据付先でショーケースの設置後に行う保守点検時
には、分割フロントパネル10bのみを取り外して電源
用端子ボックス4の点検作業を行う。この場合に、1枚
の分割フロントパネルの長さ寸法が最長でも6尺であ
り、作業員一人でも楽に取り扱える。

【発明の効果】以上述べたように、本発明の構成によれ
ば、次記の効果を奏する。
1)納入先の店舗で実施するショーケースの設置工事,
あるいは保守点検に伴う電源用端子ボックス前面をカバ
ーしているフロントパネルの装脱が一人の作業員で楽に
取り扱うことができて作業性の改善が図れる。

手寸法を3尺,4尺,6尺の標準長さに設定した3種類
の分割パネルを標準部品として用意しておけば、代表的
な間口幅8尺,9尺,12尺の大形ショーケースに対し
ても、前記した標準長さの分割フロントパネルを選択し
て組合わせることで対応でき、部品の管理に有利であ
る。
