グリコリド、ラクチド、e−カプロラクトン、p−ジオキサノン及びトリメチレンカーボネート。
ポリペプチド類、例えばゼラチン、これは、ホルムアルデヒドもしくはグルタルアルデヒドまたは種々の他のジアルデヒドで架橋することができる;
変性キチンヒドロゲル、これは部分的にN−脱アセチル化したキチンから製造することができ、そして次いでグルタルアルデヒドなどの剤で架橋することができる;

Claims (14)
- 任意の原因により哺乳類の身体に生じた開口を封止するための器具であって、
上記哺乳類の身体に自然に存在する水分に応答して膨張する生体吸収性乾燥ヒドロゲルポリマーから形成されたプラグを含み、このプラグはポリヒドロキシアルキルメチルアクリレート、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリメタクリルアミド、ポリN−ビニル−2−ピロリドン、陰イオン性もしくは陽イオン性ヒドロゲル、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリエチレングリコール、ジアクリレート、及び次の誘導体、すなわちポリ(エチレンオキシド)−ポリ(プロピレンオキシド)−ポリ(エチレンオキシド)及びポリ(プロピレンオキシド)−ポリ(エチレンオキシド)−ポリ(プロピレンオキシド)ブロックから構成されるコポリマーの誘導体からなる群からの予め選択された化合物を、エチレングリコールジメタクリレート及びメチレン−ビス−アクリルアミドからなる群から選択される剤で架橋し、そして生じた非生分解性合成ヒドロゲルを、グリコライド、ラクチド、e−カプロラクトン、p−ジオキサノン及びトリメチレンカーボネートからなるモノマーの群から選択される少なくとも一種のモノマーと反応させることによって得られた材料を含んでおり、この際、
上記乾燥プラグは、上記水分が該乾燥プラグに加えられる前は上記開口内に丁度収まるように作られており、かつ
上記乾燥プラグは、上記水分が加えられると、それが上記開口を封止するまで膨張するものであり、それによって
上記プラグは、膨張した際に、上記開口からの液体もしくはガス状流体の流れを防ぎ、かつ
上記プラグは、上記開口が自然のプロセスによって治癒されるにつれ徐々に生体吸収される、
上記器具。 - 上記乾燥プラグが、上記水分がそれに加えられる前は中実の筒状構造を有し、それによって、この乾燥プラグが、それの上記開口への導入を容易化するために、針の管腔に丁度収まるように適合されている、請求項1の器具。
- 上記針の管腔内に滑動可能に入れられ得るように適合された上記乾燥プラグ、及び
上記管腔内で上記乾燥プラグと接触して連動しそしてこの乾燥プラグを上記管腔の末端近くの予め選択された位置まで滑動的に移動させるように適合されたプラグ移動手段を含み、それによって、
上記の針を抜き取ると供に、その際上記プラグ移動手段を上記予め選択された位置に保持することにより、上記予め選択された位置に上記乾燥プラグが設置され、かつ
上記プラグ移動手段の抜き取りは上記乾燥プラグを移動させない、
