Claims (6)
- 物質間の相互作用の場を提供する反応領域に対して、前記相互作用に係わる物質を含む媒質を供給するための媒質供給手段と、
前記反応領域に対して、必要な滴下数の水分を自動で滴下する水分補給手段と、
を少なくとも備えるバイオアッセイ装置。 - 前記反応領域に保持された媒質の体積を自動検出可能な体積検出手段を備え、
該体積検出手段から得られる体積変化情報に基づいて、乾燥によって消失した水分に相当する水分を、前記水分補給手段を介して前記反応領域へ供給することを特徴とする請求項1記載のバイオアッセイ装置。 - 前記相互作用は、核酸分子間のハイブリダイゼーションであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のバイオアッセイ装置。
- 前記体積検出手段は、前記反応領域内に保持された媒質の外形をカメラ出力画像から抽出し、メニスカス形状寸法から算出することを特徴とする請求項2記載のバイオアッセイ装置。
- 物質間の相互作用の場を提供する反応領域に対して、前記相互作用に係わる物質を含む媒質と水分を別経路によって供給する工程を、以下の(1)又は(2)のいずれかの手順により行うバイオアッセイ方法。
(1)相互作用に係わる物質を含む媒質を供給する手順に続いて、必要な滴下数の水分を滴下する手順。
(2)必要な滴下数の水分を滴下する手順に続いて、相互作用に係わる物質を含む媒質を供給する手順。 - 前記相互作用に係わる物質は、前記反応領域内へ固定されるプローブ物質、該プローブ物質と相互作用するターゲット物質のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項5記載のバイオアッセイ方法。
