Claims (14)
- 逆方向トラフィックチャンネルおよび逆方向パイロットチャンネルを具備した無線通信システムにおける方法であって、
遠隔端末によって、現在のトラフィック対パイロット比を1以上のしきい値レベルと比較することにより伝送データレートを選択するステップ、ここで、前記遠隔端末は、前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比が低いデータレートに対応するレベルよりも小さいならばこの低いデータレートを選択し、前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比が高いデータレートに対応するレベルよりも大きいならばこの高いデータレートを選択するものであり、前記トラフィック対パイロット比は前記逆方向パイロットチャンネルに対する前記逆方向トラフィックチャンネルのパワーレベルを示す;
逆方向リンクでのデータのフレームを、選択した前記データレートに従いデータチャンネルを介して送信するステップ;
そのデータフレームをバッファ中に一時的に保存するステップ;
送信した前記データフレームの基地局における受信状態を示すところの、順方向リンクでのメッセージを監視するステップ;および
前記遠隔端末により受信された前記メッセージに基づいて前記データフレームを処理するステップを備えた、遠隔端末による無線通信システムの逆方向リンクにおけるデータ伝送方法。 - 前記処理するステップは、
送信した前記データフレームが前記基地局により不正確に受信されたことを前記メッセージが示している場合、前記データフレームを再送信するステップを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記処理するステップは、
送信した前記データフレームが前記基地局により正しく受信されたことを前記メッセージが示している場合、前記データフレームを前記バッファから廃棄するステップを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記処理するステップは、
前記メッセージが前記遠隔端末により検出されない場合、前記データフレームを前記バッファ中に保存するステップを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記基地局からの前記メッセージの送信を監視するステップをさらに含み、
前記データフレームの処理ステップは、そのデータフレームに対して前記遠隔端末により受信された1以上のメッセージに基づいている請求項1記載の方法。 - そのデータフレームに対して前記遠隔端末により受信された複数のメッセージを組合せてさらに信頼性の高いメッセージを提供するステップをさらに含んでいる請求項5記載の方法。
- 送信した前記データフレームをシーケンス番号で識別するステップをさらに含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。
- 送信したデータフレームの前記シーケンス番号を、シグナリングチャンネルを介して送信するステップをさらに含んでいる請求項7記載の方法。
- 送信した前記データフレームを最初の送信または再送信のいずれかとして識別するステップをさらに含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。
- 逆方向トラフィックチャンネルおよび逆方向パイロットチャンネルを具備した無線通信システムにおける方法であって、
遠隔端末によって、現在のトラフィック対パイロット比を1以上のしきい値レベルと比較することにより伝送データレートを選択するステップ、ここで、前記遠隔端末は、前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比が低いデータレートに対応するレベルよりも小さいならばこの低いデータレートを選択し、前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比が高いデータレートに対応するレベルよりも大きいならばこの高いデータレートを選択するものであり、前記トラフィック対パイロット比は前記逆方向パイロットチャンネルに対する前記逆方向トラフィックチャンネルのパワーレベルを示す;
逆方向リンクでのデータのフレームを、選択した前記データレートに従いデータチャンネルを介して送信するステップ;
そのデータフレームをバッファ中に一時的に保存するステップ;
送信した前記データフレームの基地局における受信状態を示すところの、順方向リンクでのメッセージを監視するステップ;
送信した前記データフレームが前記基地局により不正確に受信されたことを前記メッセージが示している場合、前記データフレームを再送信するステップ;
送信した前記データフレームが前記基地局により正しく受信されたことを前記メッセージが示している場合、前記データフレームを前記バッファから廃棄するステップ;および
前記メッセージが前記遠隔端末により検出されない場合、前記データフレームを前記バッファ中に保存するステップを含んでいる、遠隔端末による無線通信システムの逆方向リンクにおけるデータ送信方法。 - 逆方向トラフィックチャンネルおよび逆方向パイロットチャンネルを具備した無線通信システムにおける遠隔端末であって、
遠隔端末によって、現在のトラフィック対パイロット比を1以上のしきい値レベルと比較することにより伝送データレートを選択する手段、ここで、前記遠隔端末は、前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比が低いデータレートに対応するレベルよりも小さいならばこの低いデータレートを選択し、前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比が高いデータレートに対応するレベルよりも大きいならばこの高いデータレートを選択するものであり、前記トラフィック対パイロット比は前記逆方向パイロットチャンネルに対する前記逆方向トラフィックチャンネルのパワーレベルを示す;
逆方向リンクでのデータのフレームを、選択した前記データレートに従いデータチャンネルを介して送信する手段;
そのデータフレームをバッファ中に一時的に保存する手段;
送信した前記データフレームの基地局における受信状態を示すところの、順方向リンクでのメッセージを監視する手段;および
前記遠隔端末により受信された前記メッセージに基づいて前記データフレームを処理する手段を備えた、無線通信システムの逆方向リンクにおけるデータ伝送のための遠隔端末。 - 逆方向トラフィックチャンネルおよび逆方向パイロットチャンネルを具備した無線通信システムにおける遠隔端末であって、
遠隔端末によって、現在のトラフィック対パイロット比を1以上のしきい値レベルと比較することにより伝送データレートを選択するプロセッサ、ここで、前記遠隔端末は、前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比が低いデータレートに対応するレベルよりも小さいならばこの低いデータレートを選択し、前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比が高いデータレートに対応するレベルよりも大きいならばこの高いデータレートを選択するものであり、前記トラフィック対パイロット比は前記逆方向パイロットチャンネルに対する前記逆方向トラフィックチャンネルのパワーレベルを示す;
逆方向リンクでのデータのフレームを、選択した前記データレートに従いデータチャンネルを介して無線通信システム内で送信する送信装置;
前記データフレームを一時的に保存するバッファ;
送信した前記データフレームの基地局における受信状態を示すところの、順方向リンクでのメッセージを監視する受信装置;および
前記遠隔端末により受信された前記メッセージに基づいて前記データフレームを処理する制御装置を備えた、遠隔端末。 - 前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比が動的に決定される請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記逆方向リンクでの別のデータフレームを、前記データレートとは異なる別のデータレートに従い前記データチャネルを介して送信するステップ、ここで、前記別のデータレートは、前記現在のトラフィック対パイロット比の変更に基づく前記低いデータレートまたは前記高いデータレート以外のものである;
前記別のデータフレームを前記バッファ中に一時的に保存するステップ;
送信した前記別のデータフレームの基地局における受信状態を示すところの、順方向リンクでの別のメッセージを監視するステップ;および
前記遠隔端末により受信された前記別のメッセージに基づいて前記別のデータフレームを処理するステップをさらに備えた請求項1記載の方法。
