Description
Claims (7)
- レンズ中央部分に光学部が設けられていると共に、該光学部の周囲に周辺部が設けられているコンタクトレンズであって、前記周辺部の所定領域に対して磁性金属粉が分散状態で内在せしめられており、該磁性金属粉の分散領域によって視認可能なマークが形成されているコンタクトレンズを製造するに際して、
前記磁性金属粉を内在する軟質材料を重合成形してレンズブランクスを成形する工程と、
該レンズブランクスの中央部分を軸方向に貫通する貫通孔を形成する工程と、
該レンズブランクスに形成した該貫通孔に硬質材料を充填して重合成形することにより、前記光学部を構成する中央部分が該硬質材料によって形成されると共に前記周辺部を構成する外周部分が該軟質材料によって形成され且つ該外周部分に磁性金属粉が内在せしめられたレンズブランクスを得る工程と、
該レンズブランクスに切削を施してコンタクトレンズ形状とする工程と
を、含むことを特徴とするコンタクトレンズの製造方法。 - 前記レンズブランクスを形成する前記軟質材料が、親水性を有する軟質材料である請求項1に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記レンズブランクスの前記軟質材料によって形成された前記外周部分において、前記磁性金属粉がレンズ周方向で偏在せしめられている請求項1又は2に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記レンズブランクスの前記軟質材料によって形成された前記外周部分において、前記磁性金属粉がレンズ径方向で一定幅をもってレンズの全周に亘って内在せしめられている請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記磁性金属粉として、複数種類の色を有するものを組み合わせて用いる請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記磁性金属粉として、着色されたものを用いる請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
- 前記磁性金属粉として、粒径が1nm〜5μmのものを用いる請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載のコンタクトレンズの製造方法。
