Claims (7)
- 燃料電池スタックアセンブリであって、
(i)(a)1つのフレームと(b)2つの平面電解質支持燃料電池アレイとからなる複数の燃料電池パケットであって、前記1つのフレームが、前記2つの平面電解質支持燃料電池アレイのうち、ある燃料電池アレイの陽極側が別の燃料電池アレイの陽極側に面する状態で燃料電池アレイが配列されるように前記2つの平面電解質支持燃料電池アレイを支持するとともに、前記燃料電池アレイと組み合わさって燃料チャンバを画成している燃料電池パケット、
(ii)前記複数のパケットが複数の酸化体チャンネルを形成するように、該複数のパケットを取り囲んでいる主要外囲器、
(iii)前記主要外囲器と共に、前記複数の酸化体チャンネルを形成する取外可能なレストリクタープレート、
(iv)前記酸化体チャンネルの一方の側に連結された酸化体入口プレナムマニホールド、
(v)前記酸化体チャンネルの他方の側に連結された酸化体出口プレナムマニホールド、
(vi)前記燃料チャンバの一方の側に連結された燃料入口マニホールド、および
(vii)前記燃料チャンバの他方の側に連結された燃料出口マニホールド、
を備えた燃料電池スタックアセンブリ。 - 前記燃料電池アレイが、45μm未満の厚さの電解質を有する電解質支持燃料電池アレイであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックアセンブリ。
- 前記フレームが金属フレームであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックアセンブリ。
- 前記フレームがセラミックフレームであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックアセンブリ。
- 前記主要外囲器が合金から製造されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックアセンブリ。
- 前記パケットが、酸化体が前記酸化体入口マニホールドから前記パケットの間に流入し、該パケットの間を通って前記酸化体出口マニホールドから流出するように、該酸化体入口マニホールドおよび該酸化体出口マニホールドに連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックアセンブリ。
- 前記パケットが、前記燃料電池アレイへの電気接続を含み、前記燃料電池アレイのフレーム形成材料から電気的に絶縁されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックアセンブリ。
