Description
そして、本発明は、前記加熱部の温度検出手段に用いられる検出媒体として、薄膜トランジスタ(TFT:Thin Film Transistor)やEL(Electro Luminescence)素子を用いることができる。
続いて、本発明は、前記熱源近傍の温度検出手段に用いる検出媒体は、前記加熱部において前記熱源の加熱量を制御する回路内に配置されているリアルタイムPCR装置を提供する。これにより、デバイスとしてより小型化できるともに、温度検出と熱源制御について一括制御することができる。
そして、本発明は、前記熱源近傍の温度検出手段に用いる検出媒体としてEL素子を用い、前記加熱部の熱制御手段の制御媒体として薄膜トランジスタを使用し、前記EL素子と前記薄膜トランジスタとを同一画素内に配置するリアルタイムPCR装置を提供する。このように、温度検出と熱制御の各媒体を同一画素内に設けることで、デバイスとしてより小型化すること等ができる。
さらに、本発明は、前記加熱部は定温制御可能なペルチェ素子を備えたリアルタイムPCR装置を提供する。これにより、各反応領域を定温制御すること等ができるため、各反応領域内の反応をより高精度で制御できる。

Claims (5)
- 遺伝子発現量を検出するリアルタイムPCR装置であって、
マトリックス状に配置された、複数の反応領域と、
前記反応領域ごとに対応し、マトリックス状に設けられた複数の加熱部及び蛍光検出部と、
複数の反応領域全てに特定波長の励起光を照射可能な光学手段と、
を少なくとも備え、
前記加熱部は、熱源と、当該熱源近傍の温度を検出媒体にて検出して電気的信号に変換する温度検出手段と、予め記憶された前記電気的信号と前記熱源の発熱量との相関関係に基づいて当該熱源の加熱量を制御する手段と、を備え、
前記熱源近傍の温度検出手段に用いる検出媒体は、前記熱源の加熱量を制御する回路内に配置され、
前記熱源の加熱量制御の検出媒体の画素回路と前記蛍光検出部に用いる蛍光検出用素子の画素回路とを同一画素内に設ける、リアルタイムPCR装置。 - 前記熱源近傍の温度検出手段に用いられる検出媒体は、薄膜トランジスタ素子であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリアルタイムPCR装置。
- 前記熱源近傍の温度検出手段に用いる検出媒体は、EL素子であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリアルタイムPCR装置。
- 前記熱源近傍の温度検出手段に用いる検出媒体はEL素子であり、前記加熱部の熱制御を薄膜トランジスタ素子により行ない、
前記EL素子と前記薄膜トランジスタ素子とが同一画素回路内に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリアルタイムPCR装置。 - 前記加熱部は、定温制御可能なペルチェ素子を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリアルタイムPCR装置。
