Claims (2)
- 車両の進行方向前方に存在する物体の当該車両に対する位置情報を検出する物体検出手段と、
前記車両の走行状態情報を検出する車両情報検出手段と、
前記車両情報検出手段が検出した走行状態情報に基づいて、前記車両の予想進路を推定する進路推定手段と、
前記車両の旋回によって当該車両に発生する角加速度を取得する角加速度取得手段と、
前記車両の予想進路に対する距離の閾値によって規定される危険判定範囲と前記車両に発生する角加速度との対応関係が予め記憶された記憶手段と、
前記進路推定手段が推定した予想進路に対する前記物体の位置を前記物体検出手段が検出した位置情報から求め、前記角加速度取得手段が取得した角加速度に対応する危険判定範囲を前記記憶手段に記憶された対応関係に基づいて決定し、前記予想進路に対する前記物体の位置と前記決定した危険判定範囲とを比較し、前記予想進路に対する前記物体の位置が前記決定した危険判定範囲に含まれるとき、前記物体が前記車両と衝突する可能性がある障害物であると判定する衝突判定手段と、を備え、
前記危険判定範囲は、前記車両に角加速度が発生していない場合には、前記予想進路の左右で前記距離の閾値が等しくなり、前記車両に角加速度が発生している場合には、前記角加速度が発生していない場合よりも前記車両の進行方向前方側において前記角加速度の発生方向となる旋回内側にシフトして前記角加速度が発生していない場合よりも旋回外側の前記距離の閾値が小さくなるように設定されている
ことを特徴とする車両の障害物検知装置。 - 請求項1に記載の障害物検知装置であって、
前記危険判定範囲は、前記車両に発生する角加速度の増大に応じて大きくシフトするように設定されている
ことを特徴とする車両の障害物検知装置。
