Description
Claims (11)
- 反応チャンバ内で行われる標的誘起凝集アッセイ手段での1つ以上の磁性粒子の凝集を測定する方法であって:
前記アッセイ手段内に、標的と結合することのできる磁性粒子を供する手順;
前記磁性粒子を少なくとも1つ含む凝集粒子を生成する凝集プロセスを実行する手順;
前記磁性粒子の物理的回転を誘起するように前記反応チャンバ内において前記アッセイ手段に交流磁場を印加する手順;
前記反応チャンバの表面に付着しない前記1つ以上の磁性粒子への前記交流磁場の効果を、少なくとも1つのセンサ素子によって測定する手順であって、前記の測定された効果は1つ以上の凝集パラメータを表す手順;及び、
前記アッセイ手段中での1つ以上の磁性粒子のうちの少なくとも一部に作用する磁力によって前記凝集粒子のサイズに依存した分離プロセスを実行する手順;
を有し、
前記分離プロセスを実行する手順が、分離用の磁場勾配を有する不均一磁場を印加する手順を含み、
前記磁力は、前記不均一磁場を起源とし、
前記交流磁場が、単一磁性粒子の臨界滑り周波数よりも高い周波数を有する、
方法。 - 前記の効果を測定する手順が、磁気信号、光信号、若しくは電気信号、又は上記の結合を測定する手順を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記アッセイ手段が前記少なくとも1つのセンサ素子表面付近に設けられている、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 発生した前記交流磁場の方向が前記少なくとも1つのセンサ素子表面に対して実質的に平行である、請求項1乃至3のうちいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 分離のために印加される前記不均一磁場が前記交流磁場とは異なる、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記凝集プロセスを改善するために凝集改善用磁場が印加される、請求項1乃至5のうちいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記交流磁場の効果が長時間にわたって測定される、請求項1乃至6のうちいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記凝集粒子のサイズ分布を決定する手順をさらに有する、請求項1乃至7のうちいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記分離プロセスから生じる前記凝集粒子のサイズ割合を複数のセンサを用いて測定する手順をさらに有する、請求項1乃至8のうちいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記アッセイ手段が生化学アッセイ手段である、請求項1乃至9のうちいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 標的誘起凝集アッセイ手段において1つ以上の凝集パラメータを測定するデバイスであって、
当該デバイスは:
少なくとも1つの磁性粒子を有するように粒子を凝集させる凝集プロセスを実行する凝集手段であって、前記の凝集した粒子は表面へは付着しない、凝集手段;
前記磁性粒子の物理的回転を誘起するように、前記アッセイ手段に交流磁場を印加する磁場発生手段;
分離用の磁場勾配を有する不均一磁場を印加することによって、前記凝集粒子を該凝集粒子のサイズに依存して分離する分離プロセスを実行する分離手段;
単一磁性粒子の臨界滑り周波数よりも実質的に高くなるように前記の発生した交流磁場の周波数を制御する制御手段;及び
少なくとも1つのセンサ素子;
を有し、
前記センサ素子は、付着しない凝集粒子のうちの1つ以上の磁性粒子に対する交流磁場の効果を測定するように備えられ、
前記の測定された効果は1つ以上の凝集パラメータを表す、
デバイス。
