Description

The present invention relates to a trolley equipped with a clip member for supporting advertisements.

An advertising and information transmission device for a cart that displays advertisements on the push arms of a cart used in amusement parks and the like has been disclosed (see Patent Document 1). The push arms are inserted and joined into a pair of arm insertion holes drilled into the rear end of the platform, and are fixed onto the platform.

Conventionally, carts have been used not only in amusement parks, but also to transport goods (merchandise) from transport vehicles such as trucks to the back yard of a store, or to stock goods from the back yard to display shelves within a store. However, there was a problem with conventional carts in that they did not sufficiently reduce the workload of store managers and others, and there was a demand for further reduction in the burden on store managers and others.

The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a trolley that can be used not only for transportation but also for displaying items, in order to reduce the workload of store managers and others.

The above problems are solved by the present invention. That is, the present invention (1) provides a cart including a cart body having a placement surface on which an article is placed and an outer peripheral surface adjacent to the placement surface;
a clip member provided on the outer peripheral surface and capable of supporting a sheet-like advertisement;

The present invention provides a trolley that can be used not only for transportation but also for displaying items, reducing the workload of store managers and others.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the cart of the present invention will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 15. The cart of the present invention can be used not only for transporting articles from the back yard of a store to display shelves, but also as a display stand for articles in the display space within the store.
[First embodiment]

A first embodiment of the dolly will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 13. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the dolly 11 includes a dolly body 12, one or more clip members 14 that are detachably attached to the outer peripheral surface 13 of the dolly body 12, and a flat sheet case 15 that is supported in an upright state by the clip members 14.

As shown in Figures 3 to 5, the trolley body 12 has a plate-shaped portion 16 that is integrally molded from a synthetic resin material to form a flat plate, a number of caster portions 21 provided on the back surface 24 side of the plate-shaped portion 16, and abutment pieces 22 provided on the support surface 23 of the plate-shaped portion 16.

The plate-shaped portion 16 has a flat mounting surface 23 provided at the top, an outer peripheral surface 13 adjacent to the mounting surface 23, a back surface 24 opposite the mounting surface 23, a recess 25 provided in the back surface 24, and a plurality of first rib portions 26 and a plurality of second rib portions 27 provided to protrude from the bottom of the recess 25. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the outer peripheral surface 13 includes a first side surface 13A and a second side surface 13B having an area larger than that of the first side surface 13A. The first side surface 13A is provided at a position corresponding to the short side of the plate-shaped portion. The second side surface 13B is provided at a position corresponding to the long side of the plate-shaped portion 16.

It goes without saying that each of the multiple caster parts 21 can rotate around an axis along the direction of travel, and it is preferable that each of the caster parts 21 is configured to be able to rotate 360° in a horizontal plane around a vertically extending support axis.

As shown in Figures 1 to 4, the abutment piece 22 is provided so as to protrude upward from the mounting surface 23 near the clip member 14. The abutment piece 22 is molded integrally with the plate-shaped portion 16. The abutment piece 22 has a rectangular cross section and is elongated so as to be approximately parallel to the outer circumferential surface 13 (first side surface 13A). The abutment piece 22 can abut against one surface of an item 31 placed on the mounting surface 23. By abutting one surface of the item 31 against the abutment piece 22, the store manager can place and display the item 31 on the mounting surface 23 so as to be parallel to the first side surface 13A of the trolley 11.

As shown in Figures 5 and 11, the first rib portion 26 extends linearly in a direction intersecting with the outer peripheral surface 13, particularly the first side surface 13A. The second rib portion 27 extends linearly in a direction intersecting with the first rib portion 26.

As shown in FIG. 6, the sheet case 15 (card case) is formed in a hollow flat plate shape using a translucent synthetic resin material, such as PET. The sheet case 15 is flexible, but has enough rigidity to prevent the sheet-like advertisement 32 stored inside from bending. The sheet case 15 has a storage section 15A on its inside. The storage section 15A can store a sheet-like advertisement 32 (POP advertisement) for explaining the price and nature of the item 31 (product). The sheet-like advertisement 32 may be a relatively thin paper such as copy paper, or may be a relatively thick paper. In this embodiment, the sheet case 15 is attached to the clip member 14, but it is not essential to use the sheet case 15. For example, it is of course also possible to attach the advertisement 32 (POP advertisement) to the surface of a thick mount such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, and insert the mount directly into the clip member 14 to mount it.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, in this embodiment, the trolley 11 has a pair of clip members 14. The number of clip members 14 is arbitrary, and may be one or three or more depending on the size of the trolley 11 and the size of the backing paper to which the sheet case 15 and advertisement 32 are affixed, etc.

It is preferable that the clip member 14 is detachably attached to the first side surface 13A of the outer peripheral surface 13. Alternatively, the clip member 14 may be fixedly attached to the first side surface 13A or the second side surface 13B of the outer peripheral surface 13.

The clip member 14 is integrally molded from a synthetic resin material having translucency and flexibility, such as polycarbonate. As shown in Figs. 7 to 10, the clip member 14 has a clip body 33 extending along the outer peripheral surface 13, a clamp arm portion 34 branching from one end of the clip body 33 and provided so as to face the clip body 33 on the opposite side to the dolly body 12 side, a hook portion 35 extending from the other end opposite to the one end of the clip body 33 toward the dolly body 12, a protrusion portion 36 extending from one end of the clip body 33 toward the dolly body 12, a groove portion 37 provided in the center of the protrusion portion 36, and a claw portion 38 provided at the end opposite to the end of the protrusion portion 36 connected to the clip body 33.

The clip body 33 is formed in a generally flat plate shape and extends along the height direction H of the cart body 12 so as to be generally parallel to the outer circumferential surface 13. The clip body 33 has a raised portion 33A near one end that is raised so as to press the advertisement 32 attached to the sheet case 15 or thick mount toward the clamp arm portion 34.

The clamp arm portion 34 is generally in the shape of a flat plate bent into an "L" shape. The clamp arm portion 34 has a first portion 41 extending in a direction substantially parallel to the mounting surface 23 of the dolly body, and a second portion 42 extending from the tip of the first portion 41 in a direction intersecting the first portion 41 and facing the clip body 33. The second portion 42 is gently "V" shaped so as to be convex toward the clip body 33. The second portion 42 has an abutment portion 42A provided at the bottom of the V shape and abutting the clip body 33, and a finger hook portion 42B provided on the tip side of the abutment portion 42A and on which the finger of the worker (store manager) can be hooked. The clip member 14 can hold the sheet case 15 or the mount with the advertisement 32 attached by sandwiching it between the raised portion 33A of the clip body 33 and the abutment portion 42A of the clamp arm portion 34 (see FIG. 13).

The hook portion 35 extends approximately parallel to the mounting surface 23 so as to abut against the mounting surface 23 or the abutment piece 22 of the cart body 12. The hook portion 35 is formed in a tapered shape so that the thickness decreases toward the tip. The hook portion 35 engages with the mounting surface 23 or the abutment piece 22 of the cart body 12, and can prevent the clip member 14 from falling off the outer peripheral surface 13.

As shown in FIG. 10, the protrusion 36 is formed so as to protrude from one end (lower part) of the clip body 33 toward the trolley body 12. In other words, the protrusion 36 protrudes upward from one end of the clip body 33 in a generally inverted "U" shape. When attached to the trolley body 12, the protrusion 36 is inserted and held in the recess 25 provided on the back surface 24 of the trolley body 12.

As shown in FIG. 9, the groove 37 extends along the height direction H of the cart body 12 and is provided so as to divide the protrusion 36 at the middle in the width direction W of the clip member 14. The groove 37 has a chamfered portion 37A near the end opposite the groove bottom. The groove 37 can hold the first rib portion 26 inserted therein on the inside.

As shown in FIG. 10, the claw portion 38 protrudes from the end of the protrusion 36 in a direction approaching the inside of the trolley body 12. As shown in FIG. 13, the claw portion 38 can engage with the tip of the second rib portion 27. The claw portion 38 can prevent the clip member 14 from floating upward due to an external impact or the like.

Next, referring to FIG. 11, a method of attaching and detaching the clip member 14 to the cart body 12 will be described. The worker (store manager) can fix the clip member 14 to the cart body 12 with one touch by inserting the clip member 14 from the rear surface 24 side of the cart body 12 upward as shown by the arrow. That is, the worker inserts the convex portion 36 of the clip member 14 into the concave portion 25 of the cart body 12. At that time, the clip member 14 is inserted so that the first rib portion 26 is disposed inside the groove portion 37. At this time, the action of the chamfered portion 37A smoothly guides the first rib portion 26 inside the groove portion 37, and the clip member 14 is smoothly inserted. When the worker continues to insert the clip member 14, the hook portion 35 engages with the abutment piece 22 or the placement surface 23, and the claw portion 38 engages with the tip of the second rib portion 27. This allows the clip member 14 to be easily attached to the cart body 12.

On the other hand, when it is desired to remove the clip member 14 from the trolley body 12, the worker grasps the hook portion 35 and bends the clip body 33 in a direction away from the trolley body 12, disengaging the hook portion 35 from the abutment piece 22 or the mounting surface 23, and in this state pulls out the protrusion 36 from the recess 25 of the trolley body 12, thereby easily removing the clip member 14 from the trolley body 12.

Next, the operation of the dolly 11 of this embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 12 and 13. In the back yard of the store, the items 31 (goods) are stocked on the loading surface 23 of the dolly 11 with the items 31 stacked on top of each other. Three or more items 31 may be stacked on the dolly 11. In the back yard, the clip member 14 may be removed from the dolly body 12 as necessary to prevent damage to the clip member 14. Suitable items 31 to be placed on the dolly 11 of this embodiment are heavy items such as boxes containing multiple cans or bottles of beverages such as beer or soft drinks, or boxes containing multiple detergents. In addition, the dolly 11 of this embodiment may be used to transport the items 31 from a transport vehicle such as a truck to the back yard of the store as necessary.

The worker (store manager) can move the cart 11 with the item 31 placed on it from the back yard to the display space in the store, making it extremely easy to put the item 31 on display. In addition, while the cart 11 is moving, one surface of the item 31 abuts against the abutment piece 22 of the cart body 12, which minimizes the occurrence of problems such as the item 31 becoming misaligned on the cart 11 during movement.

The worker further attaches the clip member 14 to the cart 11 (cart body 12) that has been moved to the display space in this manner, if the clip member 14 has not yet been attached. If the clip member 14 has already been attached to the cart body 12, this work is unnecessary.

By attaching a sheet case 15 with a sheet-like advertisement 32, which describes the price, product name, properties, etc. of the item 31, to this clip member 14, it is possible to create the state shown in FIG. 12. In this way, the trolley 11 with the item 31 placed on it is placed in the desired display space in the store, and the sheet case 15 is attached, completing the display of the item 31 extremely easily and in a short time. This significantly reduces the workload of the worker (store manager) who puts out the items.

As shown in FIG. 13, the hook portion 35 engages with either the abutment piece 22 or the mounting surface 23, preventing the clip member 14 from unintentionally falling off from the outer circumferential surface 13 of the cart body 12. The protrusion 36 abuts against the bottom of the recess 25, and the claw portion 38 engages with the tip of the second rib portion 27. This prevents the clip member 14 from being lifted upward by an external impact or the like, causing it to fall off from the outer circumferential surface 13 of the cart body 12.

According to this embodiment, the following can be said. The cart 11 includes a cart body 12 having a mounting surface 23 on which an item 31 is placed and an outer peripheral surface 13 adjacent to the mounting surface 23, and a clip member 14 provided on the outer peripheral surface 13 and capable of supporting a sheet-like advertisement 32.

According to this configuration, the cart 11 used to transport the item 31 can be used as a display stand as is, significantly reducing the workload of the store manager. In particular, when the item 31 is heavy, the task of transferring the item from the cart to the display shelf can be omitted, which is significantly effective in reducing the workload of the store manager. In addition, the sheet-like advertisement 32 can be supported by the clip member 14 provided on the outer circumferential surface 13. Therefore, when placing the item 31 on the mounting surface 23 and displaying the item 31 in the store, it is not necessary to place an advertisement hanging device on the mounting surface 23 together with the item 31. Therefore, a sufficiently large space can be secured on the mounting surface 23 to display the item 31.

The cart body 12 has an abutment piece 22 that is arranged to protrude upward from the mounting surface 23 near the clip member 14 and can abut against one surface of an item 31 placed on the mounting surface 23. It is preferable that the abutment piece 22 extends linearly along the outer peripheral surface 13 on which the clip member 14 is provided.

According to this configuration, when transporting the item 31 together with the handle-less cart 11, the store manager pushes the item 31 to move the cart 11 forward. According to this configuration, the force pushing the item 31 forward can be transmitted to the cart 11 via the abutment piece 22. This prevents the item 31 from falling off the cart when the store manager pushes the item 31 because the cart 11 does not follow. In addition, when the cart 11 is installed in the display space and the item 31 placed on the mounting surface 23 tries to move toward the sheet-like advertisement 32 due to some external factor, the abutment piece 22 can protect the sheet-like advertisement 32 from the moving item 31. This prevents the sheet-like advertisement 32 from being damaged by the item 31 moving on the mounting surface 23. Furthermore, when the abutment piece 22 is provided to extend linearly along the outer circumferential surface 13, the store manager can arrange the items 31 on the mounting surface 23 along the outer circumferential surface 13 of the cart body 12. This allows the items 31 to be arranged neatly on the cart 11, improving the appearance of the displayed items 31.

The clip member 14 is detachable from the outer peripheral surface 13. With this configuration, the clip member 14 can be removed from the trolley body 12 when it is not necessary to install the clip member 14. This prevents the clip member 14 from being damaged, for example, when the trolley 11 accidentally hits another trolley or a structure (such as a wall) inside a store while moving the trolley 11.

The clip member 14 is translucent. This configuration prevents the clip member 14 from obscuring part of the sheet-like advertisement 32.

The sheet case 15 is a translucent sheet case that is directly supported by the clip member 14 and is a flat sheet case that can store a sheet-like advertisement 32 inside.

This configuration allows the sheet case 15 to hold the advertisement 32 so that it does not bend. It also prevents the advertisement 32 from being damaged by external factors (such as collisions with carts moving around the store or other items).

The clip member 14 has a hook portion 35 for hooking onto the mounting surface 23. This configuration prevents the clip member 14 from falling off the outer circumferential surface 13 of the cart body 12.

The clip member 14 has a protrusion 36 that can be inserted into a recess 25 on the back surface 24 opposite the mounting surface 23 of the cart body 12. This configuration makes it possible to realize a structure in which the clip member 14 provided on the outer peripheral surface 13 is unlikely to fall off from the outer peripheral surface 13.

The cart body 12 has a first rib portion 26 that is provided in a recess 25 on the back surface 24 and extends in a direction intersecting with the outer circumferential surface 13, and the protrusion 36 has a groove portion 37 into which the first rib portion 26 can be inserted. With this configuration, the structure in which the first rib portion 26 is inserted into the groove portion 37 can prevent the clip member 14 from moving along the outer circumferential surface 13. This can minimize the occurrence of problems such as the advertisement 32 falling off the clip member 14.

The trolley body 12 has a second rib portion 27 provided in a recess 25 on the back surface 24, the second rib portion 27 extending in a direction intersecting with the first rib portion 26, and the protrusion 36 has a claw portion 38 that engages with the tip of the second rib portion 27. With this configuration, it is possible to prevent the clip member 14 from being lifted upward due to an external factor. This makes it possible to prevent problems such as the clip member 14 falling off the trolley body 12 due to the clip member 14 being lifted up, or the advertisement 32 falling off the clip member 14.

The outer peripheral surface 13 has a first side surface 13A and a second side surface 13B that is larger in area than the first side surface 13A, and the clip member 14 is provided on the first side surface 13A. With this configuration, the clip member 14 can be placed on the so-called short side of the outer peripheral surface 13. This allows the advertisements 32 to be placed so as to reduce the frontage of the cart 11. Therefore, a large number of items 31 can be placed on the cart 11 and displayed in a store with limited space.

In the following embodiment, differences from the first embodiment will be mainly described, and illustrations or descriptions of parts common to the first embodiment will be omitted.
[Second embodiment]

The second embodiment of the cart 11 will be described with reference to Figure 14.

The clip member 14 is detachably attached to the second side surface 13B of the outer peripheral surface 13. The clip member 14 is attached to the second side surface 13B at a position removed from the caster portion 21. The structure of the clip member 14 is the same as that of the first embodiment. The hook portion 35 of the clip member 14 engages with the mounting surface 23 of the cart body 12. The convex portion 36 of the clip member 14 is inserted into the concave portion 25 of the back surface 24 of the cart body 12. The first rib portion 26, which is additionally provided on the cart body 12 of the first embodiment, is inserted inside the groove portion 37. The claw portion 38 of the clip member 14 engages with the tip of the second rib portion 27.

The sheet case 15 (card case) is attached to the clip member 14 attached to the second side surface 13B.

According to this embodiment, the sheet case 15 containing the advertisement can be fixed to the second side surface 13B having a wider opening. Therefore, the advertisement 32 (POP advertisement) can be installed so as to be conspicuous, and a method for installing the advertisement 32 that has a strong appeal to customers can be realized.
[Third embodiment]

The third embodiment of the cart 11 will be described with reference to Figure 15.

The cart body 12 does not have an abutment piece 22. The structure of the clip member 14 is the same as in the first embodiment. The hook portion 35 of the clip member 14 engages with the mounting surface 23 of the cart body 12. The protrusion 36 of the clip member 14 is inserted into the recess 25 of the back surface 24 of the cart body 12. A gap is formed between the protrusion 36 of the clip member 14 and the bottom of the recess 25 of the back surface 24 of the cart body 12. The claw portion 38 of the clip member 14 engages with the tip of the second rib portion 27.

The operation of the trolley 11 of this embodiment will be described. Even when a gap is formed between the convex portion 36 and the bottom of the concave portion 25 as in this embodiment, the claw portion 38 engages with the tip of the second rib portion 27, so that it is possible to prevent the hook portion 35 from being lifted by an external factor such as an impact, resulting in the hook portion 35 falling off the trolley body 12.

The above-described embodiments can be implemented with various substitutions and modifications. It is also possible to realize the invention by appropriately combining the above-described embodiments. For example, in addition to the clip member 14 and sheet case 15 of the first embodiment, the clip member 14 and sheet case 15 of the second embodiment can be adopted, and advertisements 32 can be placed on both the first side surface 13A and the second side surface 13B of the trolley body 12.
