Description

The present invention relates to a card storage box that stores a large number of cards, such as business cards, in a stacked manner.

A typical card storage box is made by folding paper into a rectangular parallelepiped, with at least one side having an opening that can be opened and closed.
When checking the display contents of a card stored inside a card storage box or when using a card, the opening must be opened and closed to remove the card.

In one embodiment, Patent Document 1 discloses a business card holder container that is shaped like a rectangular parallelepiped box and has insertion openings formed at diagonal positions on the bottom piece.
In this business card holder, the contents displayed on the business card can be checked without removing the business card stored inside by stacking the business card on the outer surface of the bottom piece with the front side facing outward and inserting and locking the diagonally opposite corners of the business card into the insertion slot.

Furthermore, in Patent Document 1, as another embodiment, a business card holder container is described in which a cutout window is formed in the center of a lid piece.
This business card holder allows the front of the business card stored therein to be easily viewed through a cutout window.

In the case of a business card holder such as the embodiment described in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, business cards must be manually attached to the outer surface of the bottom piece, and this attachment work cannot be mechanized, so it is time-consuming and laborious. There is also a risk that a business card different from the one stored inside will be mistakenly attached to the outer surface of the bottom piece. Furthermore, in order to take out the business card to be used, the opening for taking out the card must be opened and closed.
Business card holder containers like those in the other embodiments require the cumbersome task of cutting out a window to see the business cards inside, and since business cards cannot be removed through the window formed in the center of the lid, it is necessary to open and close the lid to remove the business card to be used.

The problem that this invention aims to solve is to provide a card storage box that allows the user to easily and accurately identify business cards and other cards stored inside without having to perform any cumbersome procedures, and allows the user to easily remove cards when in use without having to open or close a lid or the like.

The card storage box of the present invention is a rectangular parallelepiped capable of storing cards in a stacked manner, and has protruding pieces on both sides of the top surface that protrude from the upper ends of a pair of opposing side walls and extend between the upper ends of another pair of side walls adjacent to the pair of side walls, an opening window is formed between the leading edges of these protruding pieces, and a notch is formed in the upper end of each of the other pair of side walls between the leading edges of the protruding pieces.

Desirably, the tip edge of the protruding piece is concavely curved.

Preferably, the notch is concavely curved.

The card storage box of the present invention has a wide opening window formed between the pair of opposing side walls between the protruding pieces on both sides of the top surface, so that the cards stored inside can be checked through the opening. In addition, it does not require the troublesome work of attaching cards to the outside of the box or cutting out part of the lid to form a checking window as in the conventional case, and there is no need to worry about attaching the wrong card to the outside of the box.
In addition, by hooking the side edge of the card with one's fingers through the notch formed at the upper end of the other side wall and pulling it out through the opening window while bending it, it is possible to easily remove the appropriate number of cards without opening and closing the lid.
Furthermore, since an opening window is formed on the top surface and a notch continuous with the opening window is formed in the upper end of the other pair of side walls, the remaining number of cards inside can be known at a glance.

By curving the tip edge of the protruding piece into a concave shape, when a card stored inside is taken out through the opening window, the corners of the card are less likely to get caught on the protruding piece, and the cards inside are easier to see. Even if the opening window is made larger, the connection parts between both side ends of the protruding piece and the upper ends of the other pair of side walls are longer, which increases the strength of the card storage box itself and prevents the cards from escaping through the opening window.

If the notch is curved concavely, the area of the notch can be small, preventing a decrease in the strength of the other side wall.

[First embodiment]
A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.

As shown in FIG. 1, the card storage box 1 is a rectangular parallelepiped box in which a large number of cards A can be stored in a pile by folding and gluing pieces of paper.
In the following description, the long side direction of the plane of the card storage box 1 is defined as the width direction, and the short side direction is defined as the front-rear direction.

The card storage box 1 comprises a bottom piece 2, a pair of side walls 3, 3 that rise from both short sides of the bottom piece 2 in the width direction and face each other, another pair of side walls 4, 4 that rise from the front and rear long sides of the bottom piece 2 and face each other, and protruding pieces 5, 5 that protrude inward in the width direction from the upper ends of the pair of side walls 3, 3 parallel to the bottom piece 2 and form the top surface of the card storage box 1.

The width and front-rear dimensions of the bottom piece 2 are slightly larger than the length and width of the card A.
The height of the side walls 3, 4 varies depending on the number of cards A to be stored, but is formed to be slightly higher than the height of the stacked cards A to be stored.
The pair of side walls 3, 3 function as an openable and closable lid, and a card A can be stored inside the card storage box 1 by opening either one of the side walls 3.

The front and rear ends of the projections 5,5 are connected to the upper ends of the other pair of side walls 4,4, respectively, and the projections 5,5 are provided across between the upper ends of the other pair of side walls 4,4 adjacent to the pair of side walls 3,3.
The length L2 of the connecting part between the side wall 4 and the protruding piece 5 is about 10% to 20% of the length L1 of the upper end of the side walls 4, 4, and even if the upper surface is formed by the protruding pieces 5, 5, the strength is not significantly reduced and the internal card A does not escape.

The tip edges 50, 50 of the protruding pieces 5, 5 are curved concavely, and an opening window 6 is formed between these tip edges 50, 50.
Since the front and rear ends of the projection pieces 5, 5 are connected to the upper ends of the other pair of side walls 4, 4, respectively, the opening window 6 provided between the leading edges 50, 50 of the projection pieces 5, 5 is formed wide across the upper ends of the other pair of side walls 4, 4. In addition, since the leading edges 50, 50 are curved in a concave shape, the opening window 6 has a wide central portion, making it easy to check the inside through the opening window 6. In addition, as will be described later, since the leading edges 50, 50 are curved, the card can be taken out more smoothly.

Between the tip edges 50, 50 of the projections 5, 5, notches 40, 40 are formed at the upper ends of the other pair of side walls 4, 4, respectively.
The notches 40, 40 are curved in a concave shape, and both ends of the notches 40, 40 are continuous with the ends of the tip edges 50, 50 of the projection pieces 5, 5.
The height H2 from the deepest point of the notches 40 to the upper end of the side walls 4 is set to 50% or less, preferably about 15%, of the height H1 of the side walls 4. This allows for both ease of card removal and strength of the card holder box.

The card storage box 1 is formed by folding a piece of paper and gluing a part of it together.
As shown in Figure 2, the paper piece has an adhesive piece 20 connected to one long side of the rectangular bottom piece 2 via a fold line O1, and the lower end of one of the side walls 4 connected to the other long side of the bottom piece 2 via a fold line O2.
Inner lid pieces 41, 41 are connected to both side ends of one side wall 4 via folding lines O3, O3, respectively.

At the upper end of one side wall 4, the front ends of the projections 5, 5 are connected to both sides of the notch 40 via bending lines O4, O4.
The upper ends of the pair of side walls 3, 3 are connected to the side ends opposite the tip edges 50, 50 of the overhanging pieces 5, 5 via bending lines O5, O5, respectively, and the insertion pieces 30, 30 are connected to the lower ends of the pair of side walls 3, 3 via bending lines O6, O6, respectively. The rear ends of the projections 5, 5 are connected to the upper end of the other side wall 4 at both sides sandwiching the notch 40 via bending lines O7, O7.
Inner lid pieces 41, 41 are connected to both ends of the other side wall 4 via folding lines O8, O8.
The dimension of each inner lid piece 41 in the front-to-rear direction is slightly shorter than half the dimension of the side wall 3 in the front-to-rear direction.

To form the card storage box 1, first, the piece of paper is folded in a mountain fold along the fold lines O1, O2, O4, and O7 to form the adhesive piece 20, the bottom piece 2, one side wall 4, the protruding pieces 5, 5, and the other side wall 4 into a cylindrical shape, and the adhesive piece 20 is adhered to the inner surface of the other side wall 4. This results in a cylindrical body with openings on both end faces.

Next, the inner lid pieces 41, 41 provided on both sides of one side wall 4 are folded backward by making a mountain fold along the folding lines O3, O3, and the inner lid pieces 41, 41 provided on both sides of the other side wall 4 are folded forward by making a mountain fold along the folding lines O8, O8.

Also, by placing the pads of the index finger and thumb through the notches 40, 40 formed in the upper ends of the other pair of side walls 4, 4, the ends of the card A can be picked up from both sides, and while bending the card A, the card can be taken out of the card storage box 1 through the opening window 6. At this time, the projecting piece 5 and the leading edge 50 are curved in a concave shape, which allows the card to be taken out more smoothly.

A card storage box that is a rectangular parallelepiped capable of storing stacked cards, has protruding pieces on both sides of the top surface that protrude from the upper ends of a pair of opposing side walls and extend between the upper ends of another pair of side walls adjacent to the pair of side walls, an opening window is formed between the leading edges of these protruding pieces, and a notch is formed in the upper end of each of the other pair of side walls between the leading edges of the protruding pieces.
