Description

The present invention relates to an information processing device and an information processing method.

Conventionally, convenience stores and other stores have installed terminals that users can use to access a variety of services. Patent Document 1 discloses technology that allows users to conduct online interviews using terminals installed in stores.

When providing online consultations, multiple businesses are involved, such as businesses that manage the stores where terminals are installed and businesses that provide services to users via online consultations. For this reason, there is a need to establish a financial system that allows businesses to provide services online.

The present invention was made in light of these issues, and aims to provide a financial mechanism for providing online services.

An information processing device according to a first aspect of the present invention includes an acquisition unit that acquires, from a store terminal installed in a store, a service ID (identification) for identifying the service selected by a user from among multiple services provided by a service provider that is a different business from the store business that manages the store; a service processing unit that executes processing for the service provider to provide the service via the store terminal and the business terminal of the service provider identified based on the service ID acquired by the acquisition unit; and a fee processing unit that executes processing to bill the service provider, the service provider that provided the service, a service billing fee, which is a fee to be billed to the service provider, the service provider, via the store terminal and the business terminal, and that executes processing to pay or bill the store business of the store a store fee, which is either a fee paid to the store business of the store or a fee billed to the store business of the store.

An information processing method according to a second aspect of the present invention includes the steps of: acquiring, from a store terminal installed in a store, a service ID for identifying a service selected by a user from among multiple services provided by a service provider that is a different provider from the store operator that manages the store; executing a process for the service provider to provide the service via the store terminal and the service provider terminal identified based on the acquired service ID; executing a process to bill the service provider, the service provider that provided the service, a service billing fee, via the store terminal and the service provider terminal, to the service provider; and executing a process to pay or bill the store operator of the store a store fee, which is either a fee paid to the store operator of the store or a fee billed to the store operator of the store.

An information processing device according to a third aspect of the present invention includes an acquisition unit that acquires, from an installed terminal installed at a predetermined location, a service ID for identifying the service selected by a user from among multiple services provided by a service provider; a service processing unit that executes processing for the service provider to provide the service via the installed terminal and the service provider's operator terminal identified based on the service ID acquired by the acquisition unit; and a fee processing unit that executes processing to bill the service provider, the service provider that provided the service via the installed terminal and the operator terminal, a service billing fee, which is a fee to be billed to the service provider, the service provider that provided the service via the installed terminal and the operator terminal, and that executes processing to pay or bill the terminal operator a terminal fee, which is either a fee paid to the terminal operator that provided the installed terminal or a fee billed to the terminal operator.

The present invention has the effect of providing a financial system for offering online interviews.

[Outline of Information Processing System S]
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the configuration of an information processing system S. The information processing system S is a system used to provide an information processing service. The information processing service is a service for conducting online interviews and managing money for store operators and service operators. The store operator is a business that manages stores. The store is a store that sells products, such as a convenience store, supermarket, communication terminal retailer, or electronics retailer. The store is also a real estate property, but is not limited to this and may also be movable property such as a vehicle. The service provider is a business that provides a provision service, which is a service different from the information processing service, and is a business different from the store operator. A user who is a customer visiting a store can use the store terminal 2 to view descriptions of multiple provided services, select a provided service they wish to use, and conduct online interviews with service providers of the provided service they wish to use.

The information processing device 3 is a device, such as a server, that manages a platform for providing online interview implementation and financial management. The information processing device 3 stores the fee to be charged to the service provider, specifically, first conditions for determining the implementation fee for conducting the online interview, and the fee to be charged or paid to the store operator, specifically, second conditions for determining the fee for using the store terminal 2. Details will be provided below, but each of the first and second conditions includes, for example, information indicating a predetermined unit price set for determining the fee.

Figure 2 is a diagram illustrating an overview of the information processing system S. First, a user visiting a store selects one of multiple provided services that they wish to use on a store terminal 2 installed in the store, and performs an operation to conduct an online interview for the selected provided service. The store terminal 2 then sends an interview request to the information processing device 3 to request an online interview for the provided service selected by the user ((1) in Figure 2).

When the information processing device 3 receives an interview request from the store terminal 2, it executes processing to conduct an online interview between the store terminal 2 and the service terminal 1 corresponding to the provided service selected by the user ((2) in Figure 2). By conducting an online interview for the provided service, the user can use the provided service or sign a contract for the provided service. Using the provided service may, for example, involve consulting with a legal expert on legal matters. Signing a contract for the provided service may, for example, involve signing a contract for a product such as insurance with a business that provides that product.

The information processing device 3 determines the service billing fee based on the first condition ((3) in Figure 2). The service billing fee is the fee to be billed to the service provider that conducted the online interview. The information processing device 3 also determines the store fee based on the second condition ((4) in Figure 2). The store fee is either the fee to be paid to the store provider or the fee to be billed to the store provider.

The information processing device 3 then executes fee processing based on the determined fee ((5) in Figure 2). Specifically, as part of the fee processing, the information processing device 3 executes processing to bill the service provider for the determined service billing fee. Furthermore, as part of the fee processing, the information processing device 3 executes processing to pay the store operator the determined store fee or to bill the store operator.

In this way, the information processing system S can provide a financial mechanism for providing online interviews.

FIG. 3 is a diagram schematically illustrating the functional configuration of an information processing device 3. The information processing device 3 includes a communication unit 31, a storage unit 32, and a control unit 33. In FIG. 3, arrows indicate main data flows, and data flows not shown in FIG. 3 may also exist. In FIG. 3, each functional block indicates a functional unit configuration, not a hardware (device) unit configuration. Therefore, the functional blocks shown in FIG. 3 may be implemented in a single device, or may be implemented separately in multiple devices. Data may be exchanged between functional blocks via any means, such as a data bus, a network, or a portable storage medium.

The communication unit 31 is a communication interface for connecting to a network and has a communication controller for receiving data from external devices.

The storage unit 32 is a large-capacity storage device such as a ROM (Read Only Memory) that stores the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) of the computer that implements the information processing device 3, a RAM (Random Access Memory) that serves as the working area of the information processing device 3, an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) or SSD (Solid State Drive) that stores the OS (Operating System), application programs, and various information referenced when the application programs are executed.

The memory unit 32 stores information about service providers and information about store operators. The information about service providers includes, for each service provider, a service provider ID for identifying the service provider, a service provided ID for identifying the service provided by the service provider, and information for specifying the service terminal 1 of the service provider.

The information related to the store operator includes, for example, for each store operator, a store operator ID for identifying the store operator, a store ID for identifying the store managed by the store operator, a store terminal ID for identifying the store terminal 2 installed in the store, and a list of provided services for which online interviews can be conducted at the store terminal 2 managed by the store operator. The list of provided services may further be associated with the provided service as well as an available period during which online interviews for the provided service are available at the store terminal 2. The list of provided services may be determined for each store or each region. The memory unit 32 also stores a first condition management database for managing first conditions and a second condition management database for managing second conditions.

Figure 4 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of the database stored in the storage unit. The first condition management database shown in Figure 4(a) stores, for each provided service, a provided service ID, a first condition, an interview fee, a distribution rate, and billing conditions in association with each other. The interview fee is the fee associated with conducting an online interview for the provided service. The distribution rate is the percentage of the specified fee that is distributed to the service provider of the provided service. As will be described in detail below, the specified fee is the fee billed to the user. The billing conditions are conditions used to determine whether to bill the interview fee, such as whether an online interview has been conducted, whether the online interview has been conducted for a specified period or more, whether the provided service has been used via the online interview for a specified period or more, or whether the provided service has been contracted. Note that the billing conditions may be unconditional.

The second condition management database shown in FIG. 4(b) stores, for each combination of store and provided service, the store ID corresponding to the store, the provided service ID corresponding to the provided service, and the second condition, in association with each other. Note that the second condition management database may store, for each store, the store ID corresponding to the store and the second condition in association with each other, or may store only the second condition that is commonly used for each store.

Returning to Figure 3, the control unit 33 is a processor such as the CPU (Central Processing Unit), GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), or NPU (Neural network Processing Unit) of the information processing device 3, and by executing programs stored in the memory unit 32, functions as an acquisition unit 331, an interview processing unit 332, a recording unit 333, a first determination unit 334, a second determination unit 335, and a fee processing unit 336.

[Processing for conducting online interviews]
First, we will explain the process related to the implementation of an online interview executed by the information processing device 3. The acquisition unit 331 acquires, from one of the store terminals 2 installed in each of multiple stores, a store ID for identifying the store and a provided service ID for identifying a provided service selected by the user from multiple provided services provided by a service provider that is a different business from the store business that manages the store.

For example, when a user visiting a store first selects one of multiple provided services that they wish to use on the store terminal 2 of the store and performs an operation to conduct an online interview for the selected provided service, the store terminal 2 sends an interview request to the information processing device 3 to request the online interview. The interview request includes the store ID corresponding to the store in which the store terminal 2 is installed and the provided service ID corresponding to the provided service selected by the user. The interview request may further include the user ID corresponding to the user using the store terminal 2, the store terminal ID corresponding to the store terminal 2 used by the user, etc.

The acquisition unit 331 may also acquire the store terminal ID as the store ID. The acquisition unit 331 then acquires the store ID and the provided service ID by acquiring an interview request from the store terminal 2.

When the acquisition unit 331 acquires an interview request, the interview processing unit 332 executes processing to conduct an online interview between the store terminal 2 and the service terminal 1 of the service provider identified based on the provided service ID acquired by the acquisition unit 331. The interview processing unit 332 notifies, for example, the service terminal 1 and the store terminal 2 of an access request to access an interview service that provides the implementation of online interviews. The interview service may be an information processing service, or may be another service different from the information processing service and the provided service. The user and the service provider access the interview service based on the access request notified to each terminal (store terminal 2 and service terminal 1) and conduct the online interview.

The interview processing unit 332 may execute processing to conduct an online interview without the user paying fees associated with using the store terminal 2, or may execute processing to conduct an online interview on the condition that the user has paid fees associated with using the store terminal 2. The service provider that conducted the online interview is, for example, the service provider that corresponds to the service provision ID included in the online interview implementation history recorded by the recording unit 333. Hereinafter, the service provider that conducted the online interview may be referred to as the interview implementation provider.

The first determination unit 334 determines the service billing fee, for example, when the interview processing unit 332 executes processing to conduct an online interview. For example, the first conditions include a first implementation unit price, which is the unit price for conducting an online interview, as a predetermined unit price. The second determination unit 335 may determine the store fee based on information other than the user's usage history of the store terminal 2, such as the store's address or the land price of the area where the store is located. For example, the second condition includes a land price calculation value for calculating the store fee based on the store's address or the land price of the area where the store is located. Note that if the store is a movable property (e.g., a vehicle), the store's land price may be the price of the movable property. The fee processing unit 336 performs a process of paying the fee determined by the second determination unit 335 to the store operator of the store or a process of invoicing the store operator of the store. The first determination unit 334 determines the service charge to be paid to the interview provider based on the first conditions stored in the first conditions management database in association with the provided service ID corresponding to the interview provider (S3). <Modification>
In the above, an example has been described in which the information processing device 3 executes a process of paying a store fee to a store operator or a process of invoicing the store operator, but this is not limiting. For example, the information processing device 3 may execute a process of paying a fee associated with the use of an installed terminal installed in a predetermined location to a terminal operator that provided the installed terminal or a process of invoicing the terminal operator. When the acquisition unit 331 acquires an interview request from the installed terminal 4, the interview processing unit 332 executes processing to conduct an online interview between the installed terminal 4 and the service terminal 1 corresponding to the provided service ID included in the interview request ((2) in Figure 6). Furthermore, for example, the second condition management database in the modified example stores the terminal operator ID and the second condition in the modified example in association with each other, and the second determination unit 335 determines the terminal fee based on the second condition stored in the second condition management database in association with the terminal operator ID corresponding to the terminal operator for which the terminal fee is to be determined, similar to the process of determining the store fee based on the second condition for the store operator.

The fee processing unit 336 then executes a process of billing the interview provider for the service billing fee determined by the first determination unit 334, and the second determination unit 335 executes a process of paying the determined terminal fee to the terminal operator or billing the terminal operator ((5) in Figure 6). In this way, the information processing system S can provide a financial mechanism for providing online interviews.

In addition, instead of performing the process of paying or invoicing the store operator the store fee determined based on the second conditions for the store operator, the information processing device 3 may perform the process of paying or invoicing the store operator the store fee determined based on the second conditions for the terminal operator, and may also perform the process of paying or invoicing the store operator the store fee determined based on the second conditions (second conditions for the store operator), and the process of paying or invoicing the terminal operator the terminal fee determined based on the third conditions (second conditions for the terminal operator).
