Abstract

Description

This invention relates to a bookshelf equipped with bookstands, which allow the position of the bookstands on the shelves to be moved and the bookstands to be stored in the side panels, allowing for wider use of the entire shelf surface.

Books and magazines often tip over when stored on shelves or bookcases, and shelves that are equipped with bookstands from the start can prevent this. At the same time, there are times when you want to use the shelf more spaciously without the bookstand getting in the way, and in these cases, a structure that allows the bookstand to slide and be retracted onto the side panel will eliminate the obstruction and achieve this purpose. Sliding bookcases have already been shown in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-65373 (Patent Document 1) and Utility Model Registration No. 3206332 (Patent Document 2). However, neither Patent Document 1 nor Patent Document 2 discloses a configuration that meets the above-mentioned objectives.

The objective of this invention is to create a bookshelf with movable bookstands that can be moved to a corner when not needed, allowing for more spacious use of the shelf.

The bookshelf capable of storing bookshelves as described in claim 1 is a shelf having a plurality of shelves provided within a bookshelf frame, on which bookshelves are provided so that they can slide along the shelves, and the bookshelves are provided in multiple units of different sizes on one shelf, and are structured so that small-sized bookshelves can slip past large-sized bookshelves.

The bookshelf with bookstand storage capacity described in claim 2 is characterized in that the side frame plates that make up the bookshelf frame have recesses or cutout-shaped storage sections in which bookstands can be stored, and the bookstands are stored in the storage sections.
These inventions solve the above problems.

According to the invention described in claim 1 , it is possible to use large and small bookstands separately, and to position each of the large and small bookstands as desired.

According to the invention described in claim 2 , when the bookstand is not in use, it can be completely stored in the side panel, so that it can also be used as a shelf.

The following examples illustrate embodiments of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.

A bookshelf S for storing books (hereinafter sometimes abbreviated as bookshelf S) of the present invention will be described based on the illustrated embodiment.
The main components of the bookshelf S of the present invention are a bookshelf frame 1, shelves 2, and a book stand 3. Each of these components will be described below.

First, the bookshelf frame 1 is, as an example, a vertically elongated frame member when viewed from the front, and comprises a lower frame plate 11, side frame plates 12, an upper frame plate 13, and a rear frame plate 14. The side frame plates 12 are provided with recessed storage sections 15 for storing bookstands 3. Note that the storage sections 15 do not have to be recessed, but may also be cut-out holes.

Next, the shelf board 2 will be described.
The shelf board 2 has a rail 21 provided across the entire width on the top surface at the center in the depth direction.
This rail 21 is provided with rail ribs 22, and the portion sandwiched between these rail ribs 22 forms a guide groove 23. The rail ribs 22 have an upper rail rib 22a, an intermediate rail rib 22b, and a lower rail rib 22c, with the upper guide groove 23a formed between the upper rail rib 22a and the intermediate rail rib 22b, and the lower guide groove 23b formed between the intermediate rail rib 22b and the lower rail rib 22c. Note that the lower guide groove 23b is, for example, a dovetail groove shape.

Next, the bookstand 3 will be described.
In the illustrated embodiment, a large-size bookstand 3A and a small-size bookstand 3B are combined as an example. Both have a pressure plate 31 as a main component, and the pressure plate 31 of the large-size bookstand 3A is provided with a passage hole 32. The small-size bookstand 3B is provided with a finger hole 33. Both the large-size bookstand 3A and the small-size bookstand 3B are provided with a slide portion 34 that is guided by the guide groove 23 of the rail 21. The slide portion 34A of the large-size bookstand 3A fits into the upper guide groove 23a, and the slide portion 34B of the small-size bookstand 23B fits into the lower guide groove 23a.
The large and small bookstands (3A, 3B) of the present invention are as shown in the figure, but it is also possible to further subdivide the bookstands and create multiple bookstands rather than just two types. It is also possible to add a wall in the center of the bookshelf that can store bookstands and increase the number of bookstands that can be used.

To use such a bookshelf S, the book stand 3 is moved to an appropriate position depending on the type and size of the books, magazines, etc. to be stored (see FIGS. 5, 6 and 7).
In this case, in the present invention, the positions of the two different sized bookstands 3A and 3B can be interchanged, and the bookstands 3 can be stored in the storage section 15 by moving them closer to the side frame plate 12.

The rails 21 create a long hole in the center of the shelf board 2 that extends in the width direction, but this long hole may cause inconvenience depending on the situation in which the shelf board 2 is used. Therefore, a rail cover 4 may be prepared separately to cover this hole.
Furthermore, the shape of the bookstand 3 is not limited to that shown in the figure, but may be of various shapes and figures.

In this invention, two different sizes of bookstands (3A, 3B) are supported by upper guide grooves (23a) and lower guide grooves (23b) on the lower central rail (21) so that they can pass each other, but the supporting rails can also be made separate and independent. This increases the number of ways in which the books can be passed through each other.

Claims (2)

This bookcase has a plurality of shelves provided in a bookshelf frame, and bookstands are provided on the shelves so that they can slide along the shelves, and the bookstands are provided in a plurality of different sizes on one shelf, and the bookstands are structured so that small-sized bookstands can slip past large-sized bookstands.
The bookshelf with bookstand storage capacity described in claim 1 , characterized in that the side frame plates that constitute the bookshelf frame are provided with recesses or cutout-shaped storage sections in which bookstands can be stored, and the bookstands are stored in the storage sections.
