Description
Claims (16)
- 1.超音波補聴器であって、音響周波数帯域の音声を受信し、上記音波を電気信 号に変換するための変換器と、上記電気信号を超音波帯周波数に変換するための 周波数変換器と、上記超音波周波数を人間の感覚器系に接続するための接続装置 手段とよりなり、上記接続装置手段は上記超音波周波数を電気信号から超音波振 動信号へ変換するための電気から振動への変換器と、上記振動信号を上記人間の 感覚器系へ人体との物理的接触を介して伝達するための伝達手段を含むことを特 徴とする装置。
- 2.さらに増幅器を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の補聴器。
- 3.上記伝達手段が上記超音波振動信号を骨伝導のため利用者の頭部へ付加する ための手段を含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲2に記数の補聴器。
- 4.さらに、上記電気信号を変更して上記利用者の聴覚で認識した明瞭度を改善 するための信号処理装置を含むこヒを特徴とする請求の範囲2に記載の補聴器。
- 5.上記信号処理装置が上記超音波周波数を展開して、500から2500Hz の間の上記音響周波数を表わす上記超音波周波数が高いほど、上記音響周波数を 表わす上記超音波周波数の展開が大きいようになしてあることを特徴とする請求 の範囲4に記載の補聴器。
- 6.上記周波数変換器が超音波振幅変調搬送波信号を用いることを含むことを特 徴とする請求の範囲2に記載の補聴器。
- 7.上記搬送波信号がおよそ25,000Hz以上の周波数であることを特徴と する請求の範囲6に記載の補聴器。
- 8.上記変換器と、上記周波数変換器と、頭部のそれぞれの側面とインタフェー スして上記頭部のそれぞれの側面に上記振動信号を伝達するための上記接続装置 の組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の補聴器。
- 9.上記電気から振動への変換器がピエゾ電気式装置であることを特徴とする請 求の範囲2に記載の補聴器。
- 10.反響位置測定のための超音波補聴器であって、検出すべき物体に放射する ための超音波音響の供給源と、上記放射された超音波音声が検出すべき物体から 反射してきた場合に、これを受信するためと上記音声を電気へ変換するための間 隔を開けて装着した2個のマイクロホンと、上記電気信号のための増幅器と、上 記増幅した超音波電気信号を超音波振動信号に変換して、上記超音波振動信号を 上記頭部の右側側面と左側側面の両方にある人間の感覚器系に接続することによ り、反響位置測定を補佐するための2個の変換器よりなることを特徴とする装置 。
- 11.超音波聴覚のための方法であって、音響周波数範囲内の音声を受信するこ とと、上記音声を電信号に変換することと、上記電気信号を増幅することと、上 記電気信号の上記音響周波数帯域を上記超音波領域に移行させることと、人体と の物理的接触を介して上記振動信号を伝達することにより、上記超音波振動信号 を上記人間の感覚器系に接続することよりなることを特徴とする方法。
- 12.上記電気信号を変更して、上記利用者の聴覚で認識した明瞭度を改善する ことのさらなる段階を合むことを特徴とする請求の範囲11に記載の方法。
- 13.上記超音波信号を展開して500から2500Hzの間の上記音響周波数 を表わす上記超音波周波数が高いほど、上記音響周波数を表わす上記超音波周波 数の展開が大きいようにしてあることを含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲12に 記載の方法。
- 14.上記電気信号を超音波搬送波信号に振幅変調することを含むことを特徴と する請求の範囲11に記載の方法。
- 15.上記超音波搬送波信号がおよそ25,000Hz以上の周波数であること を特徴とする請求の範囲14に記載の方法。
- 16.間隔を開けて離れた2つの受信機で上記音声を受信し、上記の接続が頭部 の左側面と右側面の両方への物理的接触により上記振動信号を印加することで行 なわれることを含むことを特徴とする請求の範囲12に記載の方法。
