Abstract

PURPOSE:To make branching conveyance possible in other two directions by switching one branching gate in combination of two kinds of drive source, even if paper sheets are conveyed from any direction out of the three conveyance passages crossing together at one point. CONSTITUTION:A branching gate 1 which is provided at an intersection point of three conveyance passages (a), (b), (c), crossing together at one point is connected to a gear 5 and made to swing by a drive source 2 so as to branch the conveyance passages. Rotation angle of the drive source 2 is regulated by the stopper of a pin 8 and a hook 9. Ordinarily, conveyance from the passage (c) to the passage (a) is possible and when only the drive source 2 is started, conveyance from the passage (c) to the passage (b) is possible. When a drive source 2 is started after starting of an axis 3, rotational angle regulation by the hook 10 is released so that rotation angle of the drive source 2 increase and conveyance from the passage (a) to the passage (b) becomes possible.
