Various surfactants and water-soluble resins are used alone or in combination as dispersants to make the pigments more easily wetted and to prevent the pigments from settling over time. A commonly used method is to make the material finer.

It is difficult to say that this has been achieved, and recording liquids such as writing instrument inks, liquid cosmetics, and printing liquids that use aqueous pigment dispersions obtained by conventional dispersion methods as colorants, In some cases, problems such as clogging of the ink discharge area due to sedimentation occurred.
