Abstract

PURPOSE:To make cleaning of a water tank easy by providing a settling tank besides a circulation tank and sending one part of sludge water to the settling tank from the circulation tank and returning water overflowed from the settling tank to the circulation tank. CONSTITUTION:In a wet dust collector provided with a dust removal chamber 1, a circulation tank 13 and a settling tank 23, water is circulated and used with a pump 29 and dust collected in the dust removal chamber 1 is sent to conveyor 15 together with circulation water and coarse refuse is filtered and the circulation water is introduced into the circulation tank 13. One part of sludge water is sent with a sludge pump 18 to the settling tank 23 from the circulation tank 13 and settled sludge is discharged with a scraping conveyor 24. The water separated in the settling tank 23 is overflowed and one part thereof is returned to the circulation tank 13 via a return pipe 33 and the other part is discharged through a drainage pipe 32.

Most conventional wet dust collectors are of the type that combines a circulation tank and a settling tank, and the capacity of this water tank is 10 to 2 times the amount of circulating water.
They were often designed with a 0 minute capacity and required very large water tanks. As a result, sludge discharge equipment has become expensive, and in cases where a sludge discharge device is not installed, cleaning the aquarium after the season ends requires hard labor.

In addition, when the processing air volume is small, the water tank with a four-sided slope can be used, which also reduces the amount of circulating water. In this case, a sludge scraping conveyor is not necessary. The surface is sloped and a sludge removal conveyor is required.

Water is used in circulation, and coarse waste such as straw waste is filtered out by a conveyor before it flows into the circulation tank, and foaming and scum generation in the circulation tank is suppressed by installing a scum removal pump, etc. , part of the circulating water from the circulation tank (1 to 1 of the circulating water amount)
The sludge is sent to a sedimentation tank using a sludge pump, and allowed to stay in the sedimentation tank for a sufficient time (30 to 60 minutes), and the settled sludge is scraped out and discharged using a pump.

Further, the water that has been separated by sedimentation WK is allowed to overflow and returned to the circulation tank, and is also drained. Therefore, according to this method, dust in the 20 to 50 micron class, which was conventionally difficult to settle, can be settled and separated, and the tank capacity can also be reduced, making it easier to clean the tank in the off-season. This method has the advantage of requiring less installation space compared to conventional methods.
