Abstract

PURPOSE:To curve a sheet like a wave and give a suitable amount of stiffness thereto by varying a nipping and pressing position when the sheet is nipped and discharged via a drive roller and a follower roller respectively comprising a plurality of single rollers. CONSTITUTION:The sheet discharge device in the title is equipped with a drive roller 3a for pinching, pressing and discharging a treated sheet, and a follower roller 3b. The aforesaid drive roller 3a comprises a plurality of single rollers R1, R2, R3 and so forth, and the follower roller 3b comprises single rollers V1, V2, V3 and so forth respectively so arranged as to oppose the single rollers of the drive roller 3a.
