本考案は自動車のサツシユレスドアに設けられ
たウインドガラスの負圧による車体外方への吸い

ガラス吸出防止装置を提供することを目的とする

の間に溝を形成するようにして車室内方から外方
に延び内端が車体に取付けられたリテーナ部材に
嵌合される取付基部と、この取付基部に固着され
るとともに車室外側に設けられ前記ウインドガラ
スの車室外方向への移動を規制する硬質リツプ部
と、この硬質リツプ部より車室内方に配され前記
ウインドガラス上昇時に該ウインドガラスの周縁
部が当接するシール部とから構成されており、
前記取付基部が、ベース部と脚部とこれらを連
結する連結部とで断面コ字状に形成されるととも
に、該取付基部には断面コ字状の芯金が埋設さ
れ、
該取付基部は、前記ベース部と前記脚部との間
に前記リテーナ部材が嵌入されるとともに前記溝
に前記脚部が嵌入されて、前記連結部の表面と前
記車体の表面とが略面一となる位置で前記リテー
ナ部材に嵌合され、
前記硬質リツプ部の前記取付基部への前記固着
が、該取付基部の前記連結部の表面と前記硬質リ
ツプ部の表面とが略面一となる位置関係でなされ

で作業性がよい。さらに、ウインドガラスを閉め
てウインドガラスの周縁部をシール部に当接させ
た時、シール部より車体外方に硬質リツプ部が配
されているので、この硬質リツプ部によりウイン
ドガラスの車体外方への移動を止めることがで
き、ウインドガラスの吸出が防止されシール切れ
が生じなくなり風切音も生じない。また、この硬
質リツプ部を車体外側面に沿つて配することによ

延びて配され、この所定の間隔内にウエザースト
リツプ10の取付基部11の脚部11aが挿入さ

プラスチツクで一体に成形した取付基部11、硬
質リツプ部12およびシール支え部14に、二重
押出成形により軟質ゴム(発泡ゴム)からなるシ
ール部13を一体に形成せしめてなる。このた
め、ウエザーストリツプ10は、取付基部11の
脚部11aをリテーナ部材4と平面段部5bの間
に挿入して、脚部11aとベース部11bとの間
にリテーナ部材4を挟み込むようにするだけで車
体に取り付けることができ、取り付けが非常に容
易である。さらに、このようにして車体に取り付
けられた状態では硬質リツプ部12がルーフパネ
ル5の車体外側面に沿つて延びるようになつてい

りウインドガラス3の吸出し方向の動きが阻止さ
れる。このため、ウインドガラス3の吸出しが防
止され、シール切れが生じることもなく、この部
分での風切音の発生を抑えることができる。な
