Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type paper packing obtained by further improving a styrene foam packing substitute. SOLUTION: As to the folding type packing, roughly rectangular parallelepiped packings 201, 202 having a fitting recess S for inserting and fitting the side end part of a packed article in one face can be folded up from a sheet of corrugated paper. The corrugated paper is folded in a square gutter shape having a facing side wall 2 and a bottom face 1 making a fitting recess S, and comprises a main piece part provided with a folding line and a notch for folding up a band shaped fin piece 3 to project outward at the top edge of the facing side face wall 2, and a subordinate piece part provided with a folding line and a notch for folding and forming at right angle to the facing side face wall 2, facing end face walls 5, 25 which are connected continuously with the side end of the main piece part through a folding line, form a fitting recess, and elastically support the fitting recess. At the top edge side of the facing end face wall, a notch for fitting a fitting recess is provided.

2. Description of the Related Art For packing an article which is sensitive to an impact, such as a home facsimile or a video deck, in a cardboard box, conventionally, this end is inserted into both ends of the packed article. A method of fitting a set of styrofoam packing having a recess has been generally performed. However,
Styrofoam packing is bulky and inconvenient for storage and transportation. If burned after use, it will damage the incinerator or generate harmful gas, and is not suitable for landfill.

[0003] Alternatively, a paper packing in which a plurality of cardboard pieces are laminated in a required block shape has been used.
However, this packing made of paper is not preferable because it is bulky, has poor cushioning properties, and requires too much time to manufacture. Therefore, the applicant of the present application has long been able to assemble a folding paper packing having a cushioning performance equal to that of a conventional styrofoam packing simply by bending one corrugated cardboard along a crease. Inventing technology, and then responding to various demands of customers,
We have been constantly improving our products.

Subsequently, the buffer / reinforcement pieces 21 provided at a total of four locations at the front and rear edges of the main piece portion 61 are bent in an L shape along the fold line L, and further inward along the fold line M. Fold it in two. Thereby, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11,
The buffer / reinforcement pieces 21 bent into an L shape are overlapped on the lower surfaces of the left and right fin pieces 3 and 3 and are also applied to the outer surfaces of the opposed end wall 25 and the outer surfaces of both side walls of the fitting recess S. You will be in contact. Thus, the packing 202 provided with the fitting concave portion S on one surface thereof is folded up.

FIG. 10, FIG.
As can be understood from FIG. 11, the opposite end wall 25 and the two-piece buffer rib 26 are in contact with the bottom surface 1 of the fitting recess S and the outer periphery near both ends of the opposite side walls 2, 2. become. Further, the fin pieces 3 having a buffering function are projected outward from the outer periphery of the upper edge of the opposing side walls 2 and 2 and the opposing end wall 25. Therefore, this packing 202 made of paper
Exhibits a cushioning performance that is not inferior to that of the conventional styrofoam packing.

The small square tube portion V serves as a storage portion for accessories of the packaged article. Also, during packing, packing 2
When the 02 is placed vertically, if the surface on which the small-angle tube portion V is provided is a bottom surface, the work can be easily performed because it can be stably installed.

Further, the left and right packings 202 have slightly different shapes. Therefore, when storing and transporting the folded packing, when this set of packings is overlapped with the respective fitting recesses S facing each other, the protruding piece 11 of one packing is inserted into the insertion hole of the other packing. 13 are firmly fitted, and they are united (see FIG. 10). For this reason, the packing operator does not have to take time to determine the left and right packings.

When the packing 202 is in its used condition, the packing 202 shown in FIG.
The respective corners on the bottom side shown in FIG. 0 are applied to the respective corners or ridges of the cardboard box, but the respective corners are cut out as shown by the symbol e in the figure. . Although a large impact force is likely to be applied to the corners and ridges of the packing box during its handling, the notch at each corner can prevent direct transmission of the impact force to the packing 202. I can do it.

As is apparent from the above description, the folding paper-made packing according to the present invention has various practically excellent effects as listed below as compared with the conventional packing made of styrene foam. . (A) By simply changing the type and material of the corrugated cardboard, the dimensions and the dimensional ratio of each part, etc., it is possible to easily adjust the cushioning performance to be optimal for each of the packaging articles having various shapes and strength characteristics. . (B) The cost required for the mold can be greatly reduced. (C) A packing having a complicated shape can be easily and quickly folded up from only one cardboard. (D) The small-angle tube portion V serves as a component storage portion,
Helps to keep the packing stable vertically. (E) The corner notch e provided at the corner of the packing prevents a large impact force exerted on the corner or ridge of the packing box from being directly transmitted to the packing. (F) The cushioning / reinforcement pieces folded on the front and rear edges of the main piece improve the cushioning performance of the packing. (G) Unlike conventional styrofoam packing,
It contributes to significant improvements such as wasting valuable petroleum resources and difficulties in disposal. (H) It can be stored and transported in a very compact form.
