(57) [Summary] In a conventional macro cell layout design, a ring power supply must be designed after core design is completed, and furthermore, a connection with the core must be designed. And the design period of the macro cell becomes longer. A wiring which is to be a ring power supply for a macro cell is provided in a basic cell, and the basic cell has a shape in which a ring power supply is connected after repeatedly arranging an array, and peripheral circuits and cores other than the arrayed basic cells are connected. Wiring to be a ring power supply is provided in a nacell, and after the basic cells are repeatedly arranged in an array, a peripheral circuit and a corner cell are arranged in the macro cell, and the ring power of the macro cell is connected. [Effect] Since the annular power supply of the macro cell is connected only by repeatedly arranging the basic cell, the peripheral circuit, and the corner cell, it is not necessary to design the annular power supply every time the macro cell is designed. Can be shortened.

In a macrocell having an annular power supply in which cells are repeatedly arranged in an array and circularly connected to supply an annular power supply, a wiring to be an annular power supply for the macrocell should be provided in the basic cell to be an annular power supply. According to the number of basic cells in which the wirings are arranged in an array, the basic cells have a shape in which a circular power supply is connected after the array is repeatedly arranged, and are arranged in peripheral circuits and corners other than the arrayed basic cells. Wiring to be a ring power supply is provided in a corner cell, and after basic cells are repeatedly arranged in an array, peripheral circuits and corner cells are arranged in the macro cell to form a ring power supply for the macro cell. There has been made are wired.

Is repeatedly connected to the ring power supply after the array arrangement, and the peripheral circuits other than the basic cells arranged in the array and the corner cells arranged in the corners are provided with wiring to be the ring power supply. After the basic cells are repeatedly arranged in the array, the peripheral circuit and the corner cells are arranged in the macro cell, and the annular power supply of the macro cell is connected. Therefore, each time the macro cell is designed, the layout design of the annular power supply is particularly required. Instead, the annular power supply is formed only by arranging the cores of the macrocells, and the layout design period can be shortened.
